New cannoneer is actually bad, because it has low hp and if it attacks monk's ability it will reflect more damage and also evolved archers will be op against cannoneer

Imagine this against Graveyard.

A big problem with the damage part with for example minions or a baby dragon is that even if it kills it almost perfectly its still going to have less health than the princess tower

Princess would die but that combination as well if left unanswered. It’s weak against spam cards so you’d need to make a deck that works around that.

I think HP of all tower troops most be the same, this is not balance for spell cycles deck

I didn't see a problem with the default princess tower... Why did they add this stupid feature?

Personally I really hate this tower troop. Because metas will be changed and play-styles will be changed for example cycle player won’t be able to cycle the ice spirit at the bridge because it won’t get any damage. Beat down decks will be dead and etc…😢

I think them being dead might be a bit of a stretch, the health nerf this troop gets is pretty significant. I bet most people are going to continue to use the princess. I play lavaloon and if fast cycle decks start using it idk how much it will change the matchup. I'll still loose to goblin barrel and beat hog decks

This really is the most unnecessary shit. The cannon tower will never get used. No one is going to want to deal with the lower health and slow fire rate of the cannon tower. Also having a different range is insanely dumb since you can’t actually see the range.

"Longer range" they said ( CR tv ) if it can't kill princess at the bridge I ain't taking it. At least that & 3% more dps ( +dmg) But the range as a flattered circle is unacceptable, either they do princess tower or both. circle range.

it's not really underwhelming it just heavily depends on the deck and as big of a change as this is its DEFINITELY better to be a bit underpowered than overpowered since we're also gonna have to learn the exchanges it has with all 110 cards and all the insane amounts of card combos. its really only underwhelming against swarms tho. if ur against literally anything that doesnt have multiple swarm cards (aka most of the meta) then this is an equal option that the princess tower. not better because of the HP difference. its gonna go absolutely insane in cycle decks. 2.6 and hog EQ might actually be meta again with this since youll have to spend EVEN LESS elixir defending and can fr just cycle and spell chip then hog at the bridge.

the concept of tower troops being added to clash royale is fundamentally flawed and i would hate to see any added to the game unless they suck balls as much as the current cannoneer does, so everyone will stick with princess anyways. with tower troops, they're on the arena for the whole game, everything revolves around them. this means if there's ever a broken tower troop it will disrupt the entire meta, and you'll have to use so many resources following the tower troop meta or you'll struggle to win any games. also match up differences will be more polarised and there'll be more free wins and instant losses just because of ur deck. if a regular card is overlevelled, broken, or hard counters your deck there's always ways to outcycle it or strategise around it. with tower troops tho, they're there for the entire duration of the game. everyone is used to the princess tower interactions and having to adjust everythign around new tower troops is an uneccesary and difficult thing to force the entire player base to do. the only way for this to work is if all the tower troops are just gimmicks used in events and never viable in ladder. i dont see why super cell would want to release this feature that no one asked for, it will never be fun or interesting and can only negatively impact enjoyment. the only thing tower troops will do is make everyone feel like they lost the moment they saw the opponents tower troop after every loss.

@@TimClash99 😭right skelly's do damage when not defended but it OBLITERATES anything non swarm related. also may i remind you that spirits do a very similar amount of damage to princess towers as skelly's do to the canoneer and the collective usage rate of all the spirits is far more than the skelly's and tombstones usage rates..the VERY large majority of current meta decks dont have any more than 1 swarm card so the canoneer will be mostly better than the princess against like every deck. you just gotta watch out for the HP difference but realistically the amount of elixir ur saving on defense is more than enough to win back that slight HP difference. one hog hit is literally evening the board out. like 1-2 hits from ANY wincon is pretty much evening it out. guaranteed gonna be insanely good. the only reason people wont play it is because they'll have to learn the exchanges with all 110 cards and all of the card combos..

What a waste...It was better that they could have introduced some good tower troop instead of this shit ehich anyways is not gonna defend thus will make u lose matches....Whenever the developers try to bring something nee to the game they just destroy the game instead more and more....Strating from Clan Wars 2, Level 15, New Season Shop, Evolution shards....maximum of this are all an advantage for Pay to Win players....whereas Players like us Who dont spend a single penny struggle to upgrade their decks to even level 14 forget about going level 15, then comes the Evolution shards it takes months and months to collect 6 shards if we are not above level 50 otherwise if we collect shards from Season shop also we get just 1 shard and 1 fixed evolution shard...if i want to evolve my fav evolution how much it will take just imagine...The developers are just out of their mind...they are not thinking about the masses....all they care about is how to earn money from Pay to win players
