New BYD Seal 2023 in-depth Walkaround
The BYD Seal is a fully electric sedan that has been built using BYD's latest vehicle platform. Equipped with dual motors and an AWD driving system, this vehicle is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor that generates 530 HP (389 kW) of engine power and 670 Nm of torque. With a maximum speed of 180 km/h, the BYD Seal can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.
The car is fitted with an 82.5 kWh battery that provides a range of 650 km (403 miles) on a single charge. The DC charge rate is 150 kW, which allows the car to be charged to 80% in just 25 minutes. Alternatively, an AC charge rate of 11 kW can charge the vehicle in 7.5 hours. The urban consumption of the BYD Seal is measured at kWh/100km, while the suburban consumption is also rated at kWh/100km. The average consumption is 14.6 kWh/100km, and the car has an average MPGe of 0.
In terms of its dimensions, the BYD Seal has a weight of 2150 kg, a length of 4800 mm, a width of 1875 mm, and a height of 1460 mm. Overall, the BYD Seal is an impressive electric sedan that offers both power and range, making it a strong contender in the electric vehicle market.

I love sedans, BYD Seal and Han are of my tastes.
Fabulous looks and awesome design, and the interior too is superb, reminds me of a Porsche. With a range of 650 km, this makes a beast.

Allein die Optik des Schlüssels und der dazugehörige Tastendruck sprechen schon Bände. Und welcher Qualitätsmanager lässt solch billigst designte Blinkerhebel neben dem Lenkrad zu? Für ein Mittelklasseauto ein absolutes NoGo! Das ist eben kein Made in Germany Auto... Grüße aus Deutschland. Schade, hier müsste dringend noch etwas mehr optische Qualität angesetzt werden damit das auf dem europäischen Markt signifikant Absatz findet. Das ist noch lange nicht zu Ende entwickelt und konstruiert.

Bei diesem Auto handelt es sich in China nicht um ein Mittelpreisauto. Es sollte ein Low- bis Medium- oder sogar Low-End-Auto sein.😅 Die Einstiegsversion kostet nur etwa 20.000 US-Dollar. Gibt es ein Auto dieser Qualität für 20.000 US-Dollar? Deuschland?

@@WMD--WashingPowder helles Alkantara an den Türtafeln im Bereich der Türöffner sieht auch garantiert nach 3 Jahren Alltagsnutzung richtig dreckig verfärbt aus. Wer baut so einen Mist den man nie wieder vernünftig sauber bekommt.

I think it looks seriously nice 👍👍 And it seems that most people in the comments section also think it looks great. This car is around the same price as a Tesla Model 3. So you need to compare this to a Model 3. If you put this car next to a Model 3, I think almost EVERYONE will think it looks absolutely great.

no brother ,it has innovation which is catching fire ,it is a inclusive cool feature of BYD ,and it locks the door when catching fire to make sure the driver to die
Great video. I've seen enough to feel like the plastics are cheap. Hollow. The screen has lag and airspace. It's just not quite there. The interior can crack. And I'm not sold on it just yet.

Nope. You can probably preheat the cabin on a cold day via an app (or pre-cool it on a hot day). You might need to leave the A/C running all year round though, depending on humidity in your region. They can mist up more than ICE cars (dealt with by turning the A/C on)

The actual company name is just BYD. The 'Build Your Dream' catchphrase is just what they say BYD means. It's not the company name. I think in a few years time, they will understand the western consumers better. And then they will probably remove that sign. But it's not actually the company name. The company name is just BYD.

They sell for around the same price as a Tesla Model 3 in China. So I assume they will also sell for around the same price in Mexico. ( It was originally cheaper than the Model 3. But Tesla decided to reduce its prices after BYD launched this Seal model )
