5:00 Portillo's is on soft open until later in January. Some times the line is out the door. Very popular and the food is great. This video is badly needed for Clermont because there is so much growth and Clermont residents always want to know what's coming next. It would be a great service if you could keep these updates going regularly. Maybe even video your visits to these places? We tried the new comer: Capital Taco a few weeks ago - awesome - chiro bites? Great! I think 7 Brew is near Chick-fil-a on 27 & Hammock Ridge across from Dunkin Donuts. And a hotel being built behind 7 Brew. There is so much happening, it is all very exciting, and difficult to keep up with. Thank you for the video!

If you like the wide open ranges? Then yes, you would see over development. If you think the traffic is a challenge? Then yes, over development - even with all the new roads getting built? Those roads will fix today's problems, not tomorrows - Lake County is behind on its road plans. Services? Clermont has to race against the growth to keep services at a high level. if you want to see low density communities - developers are pushing high density, so, yep - overdevelopment. So, I understand why you would say this. But I don't agree because there is amazing growth opportunity, incredible economic possibilities, and there are still wide open ranges on Clermont's west side toward Groveland. The days of Clermont being a sleepy town are gone (which saddens many and excites many), and now are the days of continual explosive growth.

I am a refugee from Western New York which was in a 30 year depression. Highways getting plowed under, businesses being torn down so the buildings don't collapse, the city filled with empty sky scrappers, stagnant growth, large employers leaving, and tax base eroding as the job markets dried up. It felt like the end of America. We have been in Clermont now for a few years and it is like being on a different planet. Construction, developments, and growth - unlike anything we could have imagined in New York. Trust me when I say, the growth we see today is far better than the decline I experienced in New York. The growth (while understandably not appreciated by everyone) is a blessing.

Sorry, my opinion we have toooooooo many fast food eateries.... Truely Clermont warrants nicer higher end restaurants - why not Seasons 52????? We are desperate for nicer restaurants!!! Lets be serrious we do NOT have any real nice restaurnats!

Love the new restaurants coming but i really wish we would get an Italian Bakery and Deli

Brooklyn Water Bagels is in the Villages. Clermont needs a good deli.

When is the new Wendy's across from the new Costco on Colonial opening? Also, I thought a Sonics was supposed to be in Clermont like a year or so ago. Any idea what happened?

Great video. I would like to make a small correction though. Portillo's is from Chicago and they don't have Philly cheese steaks. They have Chicago Italian beef sandwiches. They are dipped in au jus. Next time you go there, you should get their chocolate cake or chocalate cake shake for desert. It's really delicious. Keep up the good work. Todd

Correction noted you can tell I’m a Floridian. However, one thing I will say is the food was amazing.

What about featuring Blackbear Kitchen in Downtown Clermont??? Shouldn't you talk about every new restaurant?
