I think you have to one shot him before he runs at you and start Q you. but if he is a good yorick you will never catch him while he split push. Anyway the build doesnt depend on yorick only but you have to analize the match

Riot changed Q-mechanic from patch 11.17 Q now counted as ranged attack so that it only gives 3 hp per Q-Grasp
