Just brought my son to see Jim for a new ball yesterday. He brought him out on the lanes and rolled a few frames with him first. Then he explained the difference between matte and gloss finish and showed how the weight inside the ball works before helping us choose. And we didn't end up with the most expensive ball. A real pro. Good recommendation coach.

Moved to Bremerton, WA and got new ball drilled by Pro in Silverdale. Axis Point, Curtis Messer Sr. did such a great job, that I got 2 more! Switched to 15 lbs and then needed new 15 lbs. spare. Got New Vapor Zone first and 2 days ago, got a Notorious to fill out my Arsenal!

Every time I wanted a new ball, I research of what are the specs of the ball such how early it hooks, if it has more length, or what conditions can be bowled on and once I picked the ball I wanted, me and my dad will buy a ball from Amazon and got the Ball Drill at my local Pro Shop.

man wish i saw this before i just got my first ball. the pro shop owner didn’t ask how i threw the ball, grip, style, or anything. just asked me what ball i want, took my measurements, and drilled it. wish i would’ve said something.

I don't know if I could just laugh it off if somebody drilled my ball wrong. He was OK letting them fix the ball? I don't know if I would be content with that solution. If I wanted a "fixed" ball, I'd buy a used ball. More than likely, the pro shop would be buying the ball and giving me a new one. If I bring you a brand new ball, I expect to leave your shop with a brand new ball. Not a repaired ball.

My wife points to the ball return and says...."What ball is that?"......my reply..."That's my ball!!!!" Really good to talk to you in Vegas, hope to run into you again. This is a real good video, I was at the mercy of bad fitters for years till I came across a guy that understood an easy fix. He has since passed away then I met Mo Pinel. He also watched me bowl and layed out a ball and we discussed fittings. I try not to knock anyone but I have found that many drillers know how to put holes in balls but struggle to actually meet their needs.Keep up the good work...

I bought a new Quantum Bias and am wondering how it should be drilled. I don't want the pro shop guy to simply measure my fingers and drill it; I want it to be drilled properly to get out of the ball all I can based on my skill level and expectations of utilizing its hooking potential. What should I say?

Tell him what you want the ball to do if you want it to do ie...go long or hook early. What condition you are going to be using it on. I recently have been coaching someone bowling in wiod lanes. Totally different situation. Ask questions, about what he is doing and why. Educate yourself zbout your gsme know what your pap is.

Cheers for this, been searching for "hand position for throwing a hook in bowling" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Piylivern Remarkable Predominance - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? It is a good one of a kind product for discovering how to up your bowling game quickly minus the hard work. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my brother in law got amazing success with it.
