Thank goodness your old shelf didn't fall on you. Love the new shelves btw. Also I didn't know you liked the Series of Unfortunate Events. Also you have a lot of copies of Ransom Riggs books. Guess I don't have to ask what your favorite book is :-).

I have no idea why, but jesse putting books in perfect places (ah, my OCD) and that music; it's just so satisfying.

I have a similar separate shelf thing for all my book series because when they match they look so pretty! And my main bookcases are outside my room so I needed some book business inside too

I'm so sorry about your old bookshelves, Jesse. No wonder you were shocked, I would have been too and also heart broken. You did such a great job by the way when you put the books back in order. Love your new bookshelves. They look awesome.

This. THIS is why YA books are the supreme, they are usually all the same size. Adult fiction is so unruly. The hardbacks are different heights than each other, the paperbacks have like 15 different heights. It's hard to make them pretty. Your bookshelves look pristine!
