as a virgin to BB and someone who doesn't go for crazy colour stories like the oden's eye helaween palette, i will be purchasing this. tbh, the ND pastel palette isn't as pigmented as i wanted it to be so i'm going for this so i have my pastels covered! i don't care the season, i have to put this in my stash for future seasons :) so from the perspective of marketing to non-existing customers to MAKE THEM CUSTOMERS, this works for me!

Steph , thank you for your review . And your honesty is so important. Because for this economy, we certainly downsize the pay for makeup wise . And pastel in winter can be pretty . And since I don’t have this brand , someday I’d love to have it , however , not now . I hope they have beginner friendly such as small ones with mirror to travel and easy to store in my opinion. I was actually searching for a good pastel palette last week and then I found this beautiful palette. I like the fact that, instead the "normal" fall and Halloween vibes, Blend Bunny uses the concept of pastel candies and lollipops, but with a "trick or treat" vibe. Very "Hansel & Gretel" and I love that 💟

Yeah it’s very different for a Halloween release!

I am surprised BB came out with both a pastel palette and a sugar/candy themed one so soon after Sugar and Grunge, which is also both in its own way. The overlap on both themes is too much for me in a short time span. Loved the video. I kept gritting my teeth worrying that each look was starting out so light and in some cases like the yellow, ashy, but each time, you saved the look with the Steff magic and all three were great.

Lol!!! I did my best considering pastels aren’t really my thing. I cannot believe I forgot to show Sugar and Grunge, but I did place a pic of it in the Community section. Personally , I prefer Sugar and Grunge over this one.

I love this pallet. I see cold winter days up in the Texas Panhandle. OR, where I live now in the Ozarks!! Big black sweaters or pastel flannels cozied up with pops of color. I see SNOW birds heading to winter HOLIDAYS tired of smokie eyes and oranges flying to Florida for Christmas. Dark liners neutral clothes. and, bam a pop of green shimmer or the beautiful looks here. pastel sweaters and winter white Ugg coats.. Snow BUNNY should be its name. I think for sure these colors are in right now and I see colors in the clothes. Steff, I was born in 61 so these colors were all year. VERY Festival vibes too. You killed this look. As a person who lives in gloomy rain and mountains now, well darn Steff this could help with SAD depression lol. I see your art and imagination come out here!!! You killed it. I have hippie VIBES so yes please.

Hi Steff, thanks for reviewing this palatte. I seen this reviewed by another content creator who is African-American. It didn’t look great on her skin tone. I’m not vibing with this palatte. I don’t wear pastels in the summer and won’t be wearing them in the fall. I like Blend-Bunny as a brand, but I will skip on this. Harvest Moon by Ensley Reign drops on Friday, please review this palatte.

I was at Michael's and noticed the Holloween decor is pastel. I think its the new trend for Holloween 2023. I think Blend Bunny went in the right direction with this one. This will transition right into spring. Im feelin it.

I was pretty excited for this palette because I love pastels and the layout of the other blendbunny palettes. For me the scattered layout is a big point against a palette in this size so I won't be picking it up. To be honest I'm kind of relieved because I haven't started collecting blendbunny palettes, yet, and after missing primal and not buying this one I'm not likely to. Helps me to save money. 😅 Your looks turned out beautiful as always! Especially look 3 - I love a good matte look! ❤

I love the looks you did! The 2nd is my favorite ! This is a beautiful plaette and I LOVE that they added the deeper shades! Pastel done right!! I am passing on this release and just picked up the Surge I palette instead. It is stunning! I love all the deep shades and tones of that palette with the pops of neon. I don't own anything like it! So I did order from Blend Bunny, just not this one. I also have Sugar and Grunge and that has pastels so I'm good for now! I do highly recommend this brand and trying it!

Thanks for your honest review Steff. I always appreciate that. I love the BB palettes I have bought so far- Lure and Sugar and Grunge. I think this color story is pretty, but I too am not drawn to it right now for the Fall season. I do have the ND Pastel palette and usually bring in deeper singles on the few times I have used it. If I got this palette, it would be later on. Right now, my next purchases are the Ensley Reign Harvest Moon Revamped and the Adept Samaritan Sunset. I don't have that many Fall palettes and I am very excited to get them soon. I am waiting on my BBB Recently Deinfluenced palette to be shipped and also ordered the pre-order restock of the Strange and Unusual. Have to slow down makeup purchases in preparation for the holidays. So much temptation- too little "Moola." Lol.🥰

Hi Steff! Thank you for your review and sharing a comparison to other brands' pastel palettes. I purchased the Cosmic Brushes Delicious palette, and I LOVE it! So, I will hold off from this BlendBunny pallette although I love their idea of thinking out of the box. I also want to mention another good and affordable pastel palette, the Pastels pressed pigment palette from Beauty Bay.

The pastels are pretty. But idk if I need them. I probably have something similar or close enough. But if they made it like a 9 pan or 12 I might be willing to try it for a "softer" look than I normally wear. Love that you're still honest that it's not perfect for you.

I will pass on this palette because I have the pastel garden which is sold out. I can pull some darker shades from other palettes to use with my pastel palette. Thank you for doing the side-by-side with both palettes from Bella Beauty and Blend Bunny to make my final decision which will be a pass on this palette. I love all three of the looks that you created🦋🦋🦋

I loved all 3 looks, and the saturation of the eyeshadows was expected. I don't know why, but this blend bunny palette reminded me a little bit of Garden by juvias place, but honestly can't compare. Sickly sweet has more eyeshadow that I'll like add to my stash.. Hope the best on the sale on this collection, the risks are high.

I’m down for Blend Bunny changing their layout style, for sure. I think the thing that makes it less appealing to me is that they’re still doing the color gradient color story, but it’s just not laid out as such, which makes it a lot harder for me to see possible looks. I’m here for them moving from the gradient color story, but don’t understand doing that color story but not showing it off as such. That third look is my fav 💜. I think that white vase Makes a world of difference. I’d be interested to see a look that starts with the deepest shade and builds to lighter as well to see how the shades perform. I like that they went a different direction for a Halloween palette, but having already bought Delicious Delights, I don’t think I need this.

Yeah you have to be really into pastels to appreciate this palette for what it is. I like that they thought outside of the box with this though. I understand your frustration with the layout too. I’m anxious to see a smaller palette from them soon!

I really liked all the shimmers. I think they could have condensed it at least by half. Too many of the same kinds of shades. You still turned out some pretty looks with it. Don’t think this will be good for my skin tone but I do like the concept. Can’t believe you kept saying “stickly sweet” that was too funny 😂

Get the Glamlite ice cream dream palette. It is so much more pigmented while still being pastel on deeper skin without even having to use a white/light base. The shimmers are also stunning! The formula is super easy and blendable. It is the only pastel palette I need. Blend Bunny's pastel formula is just too chalky and all the colors look the same.

It's so hard to do an all matte eyeshadow look ever because theres so many sparkly options but it was refreshing to see. I do have the GlamLite ice cream palette and this might be an unpopular opinion but I prefer their formula over the BB, so I'm gonna pass on this one.

Hi Steff-I wanted to ask you a question. Ulta had a sale on The Nyx Epic Wear eyeliner pencils- buy 2, get 1 free. I had never used any of them, but have seen that you use them often. First off, I had to have my Son help me get the wrappers off- I have Arthritis (old age) and I am used to just opening them in boxes. As soon as we got one of them open, the pencil completely broke off. I was so upset. Have you had this problem with them? I have had to throw some of my old liners out, including the Marc Jacobs gel liners, due to them being dried out and completely unsusable. Also, if I use the wrong type sharpener, some have broken off. I do like the UD liners. Suggestions please?😍

That has never happened to me with them. Maybe you got a bad batch. UD liners are fantastic as are the LA Girl Shock Wave ones.

I am not interested in this palette. I am not a pastel person and prefer the way BB organizes in a gradient, this is just too chaotic and the dark colors feel out of place. I also find it odd they had the Sugar and Grunge just a few weeks ago and now there is another sugar candy themed palette? Just very odd! Beautiful looks as always😊

Pastels aren’t my thing, the palette has too many shades & the layout would drive me crazy. I literally wouldn’t know where to start with this one! Definitely a pass from me but you made some gorgeous looks as always 💖

Definitely not interested in this one. I thought you were able to make it work but honestly once you blended two colors you could no longer see the difference. Great comparisons at the end. I have the ND one and forgot about it. 😊

Am disappointed with this... I already have the Bella Beaute Bar pastels which has gorgeous gorgeous shimmers 😊what I love about BB is the good organisation of their palettes... This is just like everyone else. Plus if you have multiple BB palettes you already have pastels in the lighter sections of the palettes

I agree, their Sugar and Grunge was a nicely done pastel palette to where this one is not necessary if you have that one.

This particular palette didn't really call to me. I think I've fallen out of love with BB, and that makes me sad. I just am not really into this one. That's a personal thing, of course. I know this will appeal to loads of people, and I love that! I just won't be getting this one.
