So the story is that their is an apocalypse and a few humans survived and their is no zombies nor food so what happens is the last surviving humans concur to cannibalism. 2001-Present Brian Eschbach Og member and rhythm guitarist, he has step down as rhythm guitarist and is now the lead vocalist for the band after their original vocalist Trevor Strnad tragically passed at the age of 41 on May 11th 2022. Brian plays guitar on the band whole discography until now, he’s now lead vocals The band brought back former lead guitarist Ryan Knight 2008-2016 and now he’s back to step in for Brian as the rhythm guitarist. I’ll recommend the first 3 albums just to get a feel for their sound and also recommend album 4. deflorate, album 5. Ritual and EverBlack, album 6. Abysmal and and album 7. Nightbringers. The band has 9 albums in total and now Servitude album 10 coming out September 27th 2024. All of their albums are great and sound awesome imo 2001-2007 OG member and former lead guitarist John Kempainen is on the bands first 3 albums. 2007-2012 former member Drummer Shannon Lucas is on the bands 3rd, 4th, 5th albums 2012-Present drummer Alan Cassidy is on the albums 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and now 10th album Former bassist 2005-2011 Bart Williams is on the bands 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th albums 2012-Present bassist Max Lavelle is on the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and now 10th album 2017-Present Brandon Ellis lead guitarist is on the bands 8th, 9th and 10th album 2008-2016, 2022-Present Ryan Knight rhythm guitarist and lead guitarist is on the bands 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and now 10th album

Hey there Jake who Eats Airplane. Glad you enjoyed the video! Would you like to see us torture Matt with a follow up review of the entire album when it drops? Maybe we can change his mind, what do ya think?

On the morning of January 15, 1947, a mother was taking her child for a walk in a Los Angeles neighborhood and they stumbled upon a gruesome sight, the body of a young naked woman sliced clean in half at the waist. Her name was Elizabeth Short, she went to Los Angeles to become an actress. she had left her hotel and was never seen again she was only 22 years old, the media gave her the name the black dahlia because he was beautiful young girl with very dark hair

TBDM is melodic death metal. There is nothing "core" about them. Also, if homie with the neclace had seen damn near ANY of their other videos, they're either videos of mostly live footage or the band just being a bunch of goofy ass dudes. They have only a few more "serious" toned videos. Lastly, he says he wants something unique. The problem is that since Trevor isn't with us anymore, they couldn't just come back with something totally off the wall and not lose a ton of fans. They had to prove that they can still do this with Brian on vocals. Perhaps in the next album they can experiment a little bit and people would be willing to accept it better.

Yeah after watching this video back, I was definitely a little too harsh but keep in mind I was merely reacting to this video without really knowing much about this band. The truth is I was very impressed with his vocals and mad props to the rest of the band in getting back in this thing after such a terrible tragedy. Lastly, me even saying metalcore just goes to show how much I listen to this type of music. Ha. Melodic death metal sounds much better. Thanks for keeping me honest! I figured the TBDM fans were going to get on me and they did. Actually going to make me check out their earlier work so everything has a silver lining!

@@GinkoBalboa Hey man, it's all good. It's hard to read tone through text but I didn't mean to come off as aggressive or mad LOL! But yeah, I will be totally honest. They found a formula that worked for them very early on and have stuck with it. The way they keep it fresh is by sticking to a theme in each album. My personal favorite albums from them are Nocturnal and Ritual. But, they have yet to make a BAD album, IMO.
