It's a beauty I agree. Here's one from Sam Dale. - " if everyone had a bike there wouldn't be any wars, because everyone would be so stoked all the time! Get everyone a bike and world peace will follow".@@deano-uv6dr
I like how near the end of the video you wrap up the voice over like usual but we just continue to watch the beautiful scenery pass by
I love your whole philosophy on life through biking. How you intertwine biking, friends, coffee, and the clean bowl club! I also appreciate your bike build ideas and how to think about building your bike without judgement and you appreciate all bikes. "Just get out there and bike!"

I want to say how much I have been enjoying your content. Thank you. I am a Rivendell rider as well. I have a rescued Hunqapillar. It is the very same bike that was bought out from under me at the Rivendell shop in Walnut Creek. It was the last one from that shipment and it was the last one from Waterford. I got it from the guy who scooped me, ten years later. It was beat down, but I am handy with a wrench and sorted it out. I have other bikes, but the Hunq is the one I prefer - it was meant to be mine…
I really look forward to your uploads lately. You’ve inspired me to start riding my bike more often, especially to run errands that are relatively close by. Thanks for that!

Careful, that's how bike life begins. Before you know it you'll have a garage full of purpose-built bikes.
@probablyriding

I’m very happy to hear that.
I’m glad you humbly accept that your dream bikes are expensive for many but you more than justify it with your car free lifestyle. I have a motto which I may have made up or may have heard somewhere….” It doesn’t matter what you ride, how you ride and where you ride as long as you RIDE” Keep it up. Love the content❤
@gattocat3729
23 күн бұрын
That's a nice motto u got there. I too sometimes dwell too much on my bike, if need I it to be lighter or do i need to change something...but at the end of the day, as long as I can ride it. It's all that matters

Thanks! Bikes are great!
Before watching your videos, I was set on getting a bicycle for myself for general leisure and commuting, but watching your videos and seeing your philosophy on life and your appreciation for little things like coffee, food, and biking with your friends or alone, taking in the little things in life - has made me a lot more enthusiastic and excited about picking my first "adult" bike. It also makes me happy to see how delighted you are cherishing and showing off your well-loved bikes. Thank you for sharing such lovely videos, Marcus! 🌾🚲☕️🌻🫕

I got hit by a truck today that turned into me while doing a rolling right turn at a stop sign. He stopped before running me over but bent my steel frame and rear wheel. He gave me a ride home then took me to the bike shop and brought me another bike 🚲. He was a retired firefighter and knew it could have cost him a lot more. Of course it could have cost me the most but after I calmed down. I just have a right groin pull and a new bike. It's that old joke being a cyclist you know how you're going to go, just not when 😂.

I'm literally considering a Susie, I was on the phone with Rivendell the other day! What do you think about the susie vs the clem? I'm having a hard time choosing and you're like the only youtuber aside from the fellas at Riv that have both.
@probablyriding

Both great bikes. I have a 52cm Clem and 56cm Susie so they’re quite different sizes already. The Susie feels much bigger and higher and better for off road riding, capable of commuting and some road riding too. Clem is good off road but would be the better commuter of the two.
