You are right about the pipe. I continually hit mine. The one thing I really really recommend if you ride across a variety of altitudes is a Smartcarb. In is awesome once you get it dialed.

Nice bike. FYI all of my KTM's came with the same things you showed to include the hard copy manual, tool kit, etc. They did not come with spark plug is all the difference. I still prefer KTM over Sherco. Main reason is the KTM engine, more dependable, better counterbalance and with better machining. Still like the Sherco and Beta though.

Wicked bike!! Good choice mate!! FYI the cam included with the ODI lock on increase the action of the throttle pull. Also, check the earth wire coming off the cdi....common issue with it wearing through or snapping....I remounted my cdi horizontally. Less tension and no chance to rub on anything.

Oh man, thanks for the advice! The knowledge on these Shercos isn’t really readily available. I picked up a zrt cam for the ODIs. Luckily my buddy picked his sherco up first- it gave me an opportunity to get ahead of the curve a bit.

90 hrs on my 21 250, didnt break that top chain guide yet lol. Tighten all the bolts and loctite them, they will back out.

I still have it on! It’s lasted four hours so far! Good advice on the loctite. Comping from a Beta I’m pretty used to loctiting eeeeverything.

@@PlushEnduro I lost a bolt under seat that connects rear fender subframe, induced a terrible rattle. at $13,500 canadian for a 22/23 I will be keeping the 21 I think!

Ohhh yeah, so the pvc one I printed failed eventually. But apparently just using a different oil helped. I threw in some Moterex 4t (as one does when they just use whatever they have lying around). Boom fixed. Shrug

If you like the stock silencer why not plug a fisch moto spark arrestor in there?

Great video, I'm looking at upgrading from my 2020 300 EXC, I don't think I can make the jump. Looks like I'll have to fork out 20k for a new 300exc. But I'll try to keep an open mind.

Yeah I understand, Totally different character than the KTM. It feels like it was made to be a hard enduro bike before anything else. The ergonomics are a kind of a throwback to Yamaha. If you like it you like it, if you don’t you don’t. I definitely understand.

@@PlushEnduro I rode one recently. I did like the feel of it. Just a few things on the bike I didn't. My biggest issue is they aren't oil injected. For the long rides I do, not having to carry oil is a big win.

How does the Sherco compare to your built YZ250? Great Vids ! thx

Wayyyyyyyy better from a hard enduro standpoint. I will say that cockpit wise and handling, it reminds me a lot of the Yamaha. Instantly comfortable.

Incredible machine and I'm sure it'll make you a ride better 😐... 😂🤣 After the ride yesterday JR was saying he's considering getting a Sherco, mostly for the full KYB legs, he's had it with the Sach's... That and his Beta is clapped out at this point....

I’ve put about 25 miles on it and the suspension is REAL nice. Definitely a different universe from the Sachs. That beta was newer than mine, what’s he doing to that poor thing?

@@PlushEnduro ... Lets just say JR puts a lot of sideways miles on that Beta ...lol He did a KYB fork conversion but now the Sach's shock body is wearing through for the third time. .. He's ready for an upgrade.

Yeh man, this is why I’m looking to go Sherco over Beta. I don’t really consider orange bikes. Too much hype on them for me.
