Gauntlet police are absolutely insane, I've had them straight up ram into my front bumper on a collision course. This happened multiple times, some folks get busted but that's the name of the game. Definitely my favourite way to race, albeit infuriating. So happy the Link Up's got scaled back and they added extra incentive to do the races again.

BTW Linkup timer happens on ones that no one shows to in time. I had one I was maybe 2 secs away from that disappeared. A bunch of people were in Playlists that dropped right after. 30 minutes till another spawned. That needs to be reconsidered, but otherwise the greater timer isn't a bad thing if a little long.

Tip for gauntlets. Always keep yellow nos that way u can ram through the cops without losing speed

HOLY MOLY. I went in totally unprepared for gauntlets with my exige and got my butt HANDED to me 😂 i love it!

Im actually glad they've put a timer on the linkups and more emphasis on the rewards for playlists.The game should encourage racing above all else. I dont get lots of time on the game and i dont want to have to search and search for a server, just so i can find one where at least half a full lobby wants to race.

I want to be allowed to use my character more. In events, to go get more clothing instead of just having it go to my garage, a dealership like in heat. And i also want certain car type races, for example i want a A+ playlist, muscle car only, v8 engine only. Or like S+ playlist, Lamborghini's and Ferrari's only to give more newcomers a chance and not just get left in the back because the car im in is just one of the best in that class. We all know the meta cars. R34(b,a and a+), 180sx(top5 b class) testarossa(dominates A class), GTI(b,a,A+), REGERA(King of S+)r35,(prince of S class of you launch) F40(THE KING OF S class). Maybe I'm just always getting put into the sweaty lobbies because these are always the cars i run into whenever I play unbound. But I seriously waste a lot of money when all of my work goes out the window when I get a car that I like but it's actually bad when i use it. I keep all of my vehicle's I don't sell, but it is seriously just wasting my time and money. They should allow us to test drive 🤷one more, they should add off-road sprints. I have an AMG I've been itching to use but no one plays rumble and its s tier anyway

I get a purchase failed when i try to buy car no reason why for online soi. Thinking i have to sell all my cars but 1 and rebuy them idk

I don't know if it's a bug but I have yet to see a link-up or boosted event appear. Even when playing the game for 2 hours straight. Either I'm super unlucky and miss it every time I enter a random playlist or something just ain't right

Maybe unlucky but it would have to be VERY unlucky. I’ve seen a bunch of people reporting they haven’t seen linkups…it might be a bug, but idk.

Same stuff happens on my end? For some reason I've yet to see neither. I wonder what's up with that. Very weird for it to be a bug tbh since it's supposed to be server-side (meaning everyone should experience the same thing?), unlike the DLSS problem we had in the previous update.

When Linkup starts on Kennedy drive you can't access S+ races. And when it starts at Griffith construction you can't access S races.

They will. It can take up to 40min to see one especially if one just finished when you got in there. You also might miss one if you were in a particularly long playlist.

I hate they didn't add the S+ tier gauntlets 😑

Only for the Porsche Unleashed event. For all other races, rentals are only there if you don't own any car for that particular race class you're on. Oh and of course, campaign cars won't transfer over to online cars. You could purchase customized cars for which you've completed deliveries for in the campaign however.

Is this the same for Vol. 5 or is there a better way now???

I’ve never had that issue. Communication through discord is recommended now that both Xbox and PlayStation have discord built in

I know this is irrelevant in terms of the video topic, but I unlocked all the safe houses in the game, yet most of them are locked for some reason now, & im not sure why. Does anyone have any information on why they’re locked? Most of the safe houses won’t allow me to go inside of them.

​@@SlushyyHyuganot necessarily unlock again separately, just finish the story. Lore-wise, the cop-presence is increasing, they check everything so not all safe-houses are safe ATM. It's a method to increase tension before the Grand. In the last couple of days you lose safe house access until just Rydell's garage remains for last friday. But once you complete the Grand, you get every safe house back you unlocked beforehand.

Make a volume 6 version of ways to make money.

Yeah, since without cops health is barely an issue. And many multi-player races were already NOS-regen-boosted, filling that up was mostly an unnecessary risk away from optimal lines. But this is where the fun begins.
