I have Rouge Smoking, just received Gris Charnel, & now i just ordered velvet Tonka because I love it so so much! It’s absolutely stunning! The Tonka and tobacco together is absolutely beautiful!! It might be a year later, but I’m a huge fan of BDK ever since I got Rouge Smoking. Now I own gris charnel, and received the velvet Tonka as a tester and I completely fell head over heels for this. I knew as soon as I smelled it how compelled I am by this scent. It’s me in a bottle honestly. Boozy, tobacco, vanilla, Tonka bean right down my alley. I believe it leans more feminine myself, and I still think rouge smoking and velvet Tonka are the best. I’m a gourmand lover lol

Interesting note about the dessert. I also was reminded of dessert, but of the Chinese almond jello that is served after a sumptuous meal.

After doing a lot of homework, I've made my own list of 20 samples to order. Curious if I've missed anything. (P.S. About 4 months ago I bought Rouge Smoking and it's my favorite fragrance tied with Layton and house of silage #1 for overall best to my nose. Recently I just received Velvet Tonka, gris Charnel and Pas Ce Soir not a fan of all three and I really wanted to love them.

I've got a sample coming in the mail. Should be here tomorrow. Can't wait to try it. I was very excited when you said it reminded you of Xerjoff's Italica because for me Italica was beautiful but it had something in it that kept bothering me (medicinal almond extract type smell). So I am hoping this one will satisfy that craving for the perfect almondy gourmand.

Can you tell us a bit about the longevity and sillage? Rouge Smoking barely lasts or projects on me, but Gris Charnal creates a beautiful, strong cloud around me.

Dry down is soapy on my skin and the amyris wood essence is too much for my nose, good thing I bought a decant on maxaroma site; I am a big lover of tonka but this one is a no for me. Tonka Imperiale is a big winner in my opinion!!!

I ordered the velvet tonka samples and there was such a high alcohol content in the first sample that even an hr later when I sniffed my wrist it smelled like alcohol. I was disappointed. Im hoping the other samples are not like that, if so I wasted my money unfortunately. Im thinking maybe just the samples are like that. I hope so at least.

Dear demi, after watching your video about this bak Velvet tonla o bought it. Bur i am shocked as it Shown in the color champagner as everywhere. I bought it online in a color orange.could you please tell me wheather velvet to ka can be original in different colors?

Honest question, I’ve read comments on other channels by subscribers, saying that your boyfriend’s family have business ties to the a couple of fragrance houses including De Marly. Hence the amount of praise you give the house. I don’t know where they could get that info, but is that true?

I have seen so many reviewers who are essentially salespersons for brands who pay them in fragrance bottles and insist they're being objective, that I am at the point where I consult many reviews and make my own decisions. Judging fragrances is totally subjective anyway.

I called the company bdk nobody answered yet. In order to ask this question I wrote them via instagram, no answer yet. What shall I do😥😥
