I can agree with you that every time I see or hear Band-Maid I cry... I am a 72 year old disabled musician.,I can't play any keyboard anymore because of my disability. Band-Maid fills voids in my life that I am missing. Because, I can't perform as a musician anymore. Love your channel and reaction to Band-Maid. Keep Rocking Dude 🤘🤘

Just the pure joy on Kanami's face.

I think this video shows how very important Akane's drumming is to this band. How Akane gave both Kanami and Misa the exact fills for their solos without overwhelming them shows how much they care for each other and the audience to give them the BEST sound from their songs.

Hey I can't agree more with you. If you watch closely after MISA and KANAMINCHO's dual, you see Akane look back and up at MISA and KANAMINCHO and smile. They have so much love and respect for one another. 👍👍

Spot on Bill. She knows it's their time and just hangs out in the background holdin it together. Love the fact that there are NO ego's here or in any of their performances.

I watched the livestream of this concert and I knew what I was expecting because I've been a fan for a long time, but 33 songs and 3 1/2 hours later , was blown away by how special it was to me. I am so proud of these ladies and what they've achieved so far and by how they've done it. Working their way up from the trenches of hole in the wall venues and small hall for ten years to this. Yokohama Arena! They not only did it, they did it the right way. Hell.. I'm tearing up now just thinking about it. Thanks Ross!

The second best part about Band-Maid (out of the 8,100,000+ best parts) is all the other Maidiacs that are the most welcoming and friendly community there is. 🙂 What was that dude's name? I always forget...?

We all know what Akane can do .... we all know she can destroy that drum kit if she wanted to, but I love how she held back and played just the right amount and the perfect fills for both Kanami and MISA to empower and enhance their sound and give foundation to them both for that guitar-bass exchange ... and at the end? She just smiled and looked back at them proudly knowing that they all SLAY ! I really love the friendship and respect they have for each other, that's true friends and true professionals on stage, showing everyone how it's done!

Don't worry, they make a lot of people get emotional. There is something so special about them. I grew up with the Beatles, Cream, Janis, the Doors, Pink Floyd, Queen and all the greats of the classic era. I've been waiting for 30+ years to have that feeling again, and the Maids finally delivered.

"Don't You Tell ME" has a great and fun Official Music Video too! The guitar/bass conversation is added to the live version. It's a great song, up there in my top five - which has 40 songs in it!

Still find it hard to believe...I was there!...A treasured memory for sure...Long May They Reign!

The first time I heard that siren backing track during the solos, I had the urge to look out the window. lol. Someone mentioned that the solos didn't add to the song. Please! That person obviously didn't listen to what was underneath. I think it was probably Miku-chan laying down the rhythm guitar. She was also extra amazing this particular evening.

I have a definite 1 through 4 and then there is a 35 way tie for fifth place. I couldn't do it. I dare you to! 😄I saw them last year for the first time after following them eight years. It was magical. I hope you get your time with them. Saiki is mesmerizing.

Amazing that just by playing music, Band-Maid can invoke an emotional reaction. Also agree that Saiki was massive in this show. That whole arena was revolving around her.

You are correct. This is from Yokohama Arena 17,000 Nov 2023. The whole band were really up for this one, but Saiki rules. The concert DVD is due out later this March.

The arena can hold 17,000 but unfortunately 8,000 for the show .

As an old Rocker, a highlight for me is at the start of Kanami's last solo, where she starts with first bar with a classic little riff from the 50's style rock.

Great performance from these Goddesses! Love how they used ALL of the stage! Fan chant, indeed!

One thing I haven't mentioned in any comments after seeing this video for the first time is that their new maid outfits are so GLAMOROUS !!!!!! I just love what they are rocking. They all literally look like goddesses !!! I don't if it's a 10 year fashion redo or what, but they look awesome. Saiki's double-breasted waist level jacket is just perfect and that split skirt just screams golden-age big band torch singer. Misa's style is just timeless Asian glamor. And the trim and taut maid outfits on Miku, Kanami and Akane are picture perfect. It isn't Akihabara maid cafe's any more, it's more like Mandarin Oriental Tokyo style.

This entire concert is going to be released on DVD & BluRay this Spring: All 3 and a half hours of it. I have it on pre-order. Ranking Band-Maid songs is an exercise in futility - all their songs are so catchy and so energetic and so expressive - you will be juggling multiple songs like chainsaws, bowling balls, machetes, and kittens. I,e.: it's impossible. As for the bass/guitar duel: a smidgen of it was on the studio recording and the original MV, but they expanded it for the 10 Ant Tour Final. I caught them in their May US tour at Detroit and Columbus. Both shows were good (Detroit had 22 songs!) but later that Summer and continuing into Fall Band-Maid was "adding features" to their songs and fine tuning them in prep for to Yoko final.

Having heard all Band Maid songs, I can safely say that making a top ten is 'easy' for me. I just asked myself, "What are my "go to" songs ? If I'm randomly searching for Band Maid songs, which ones do I always seem to search for , over and over again ? (Hmm)...Why,Why,Why?... I'll...Youth...I Still Seek Revenge...Clang...Smile (original version)...Dice/Hate?... Sayonakidori...Yolo...Bubble ! It could change in a week as they have NO bad songs, but some songs just won't leave you ! ♥️🤯

Ranking Band-Maid song is an impossible task for me. But I would love you to try after checkout their 120+ tracks 😏. I'm sure it would be fun to watch.

What's your favorite Band-Maid song? The las5 one you heard....😉 Band-Maid live songs are prettt close to the studio tracks. The differences are usually when Saiki will drop a chorus to encourage the audience to sing along or when tbey extend solos or change up intros.

Thank you for being so honest and open with your reactions. In the beginning, I used to think something was wrong with me because I was having the same chills and teary eyes whenever I was experiencing Band Maid. I thought, “C’mon man! Why is this hitting differently?” Fortunately, other fans have admitted the same, the young and old, both women and men; and watching you confirms that nothing is wrong with me. Band Maid is simply that special.

Send that man The T-Shirt! But this isn't even the best LIVE version of this song. That was taken off KZread ahead of a DVD release. To see that you have to go to the Chinese site Bilibili. It's the 9th song from the Zepp Tokyo LIVE concert. The only thing that comes close to that would be the LIVE version of 'Hate' from Lollapalooza, but the sound and camera work aren't up to BAND-MAID Standards.

The best live rock band in the world...maybe ever.
