That Starc to Bavuma and Nortje to Smith are the dream fast bowler wickets. Between Bat and pads cleans off the stumps. Gonna love the absolute treat of pace quality we will see in the series from both the teams

Starc to bavuma was not that a great delivery it swung in just a little and took a thick inside edge otherwise it wud have been blocked. Where as delivery Smith got swung quite a bit to go thru the gates

@@timdrake8972 Starc’s ball had a bit of luck on it but he put in the right areas and when you put it around the top of off, your always going to challenge the batter whether it hits the stumps or not.

Huge difference! Brook doing it on flat pak tracks while head doing it on green gaba wicket
Head gives the Vibes of Gilchrist as a good counterattacking batsman both in odi as opener and great number 5 in test 👌

SA must be happy with the pitch they prepared. Enjoyed watching both bowling attacks. That SA pace quartet is going to be sensational in a year or two. If rain stays away its a definite 4 day result....a perfect first test for both teams.

Things I noticed today in this highlights are : Smith on the slip for fast bowler , Smith on the slip for spinner nathon Lyon bowler , Smith's classic cover drives , And also I noticed how Smith has been bowled with the beautiful inswinger 🤩🥰

Australia vs south africa rivalry is far better than ashes proper display of high quality fast bowling in test cricket, sa has probably most brutal fast bowling line up in world for this kind of pitches.

@Shubham Sharma Australia provides a minimum quality pitch.... It will not be a rank Turner. But have good pace and bounce which is useful for pace and spin. Also have grip and uneven bounce in last 2 days which also helps both pacers and spinners... Batsman having solid techniques can score runs🔥🔥🔥🔥...... But subcontinent pitches lacks quality... Turning pitch is good deal for test... But some pitches will be slow rank turners from day 1. So spinners get huge support and pacers can only depend on shine of the ball😐😐... After day 3, pitch will be hectic by deterioration 😬😬... Which makes heaven for spinners and pacers are compelled to hit the cracks to get wicket😔... Also heavily dependent on reverse swing.... In day 3 & 4, batsman cannot trust the pitch by 10 percent and luck plays major role in every delivery 😞

Everyone is thinking that that this SA team's batting is weak but I would say barring Khaya Zondo, this a pretty good batting line-up just that they don't have enough test cricket experience.Elgar is top class test batsman, Erwee has started his test career well(stylish batsman) and played a match winning knock at Lord's in 1st test vs England, Van der dussen is experienced international batsman, Bavuma is consistent in tests, Kyle Verreynne is solid so it is not a bad batting unit but just inexperienced.

One of his core belief is that you either get better or worse, there is nothing constant. So he always try to be a better bowler. With this attitude, work ethic and the speed at which he's adding new skills ... he's going to be one of the best bowler the world has ever seen.

@@willmacca8001 Not really, he drawn a match by his own. And Hundred in Marsh Cup vs WA. Got couple of good innings. He is ready and very good technically sound batter. Travis Head, before this summer, he hasn't been in good form in domestic, but he absolute in stellar form this Summer. Same with Hunt , needs to get a go.
