1. Levi's proprietary denim from Cone Mills White Oak plant in North Carolina
2. Hairy suede inspired by the reverse of Levi's leather patch
"Every element of this sneaker has been perfected. It features a suede and denim upper made from Cone Mills White Oak XX52 deadstock denim. We also added a woven White Oak label on the inside of the shoe tongue, a Levi’s® Orange Tab on the left foot, and a “Levi’s® for feet” graphic on the orange sock liner. This video convinced me to get a pair of these. Unfortunately the first pair I ordered were too small and also had a fair amount of denim bleed, so I returned those and went a size up. The second pair fits great... but the laces I bought from the NB website are a brighter neon shade of orange rather than the one used on the shoe. Hoping I can find a nice matching orange pair of laces without having to pull from another pair of shoes.

Got these almost a month ago. Still on ice. The hairy suede is my absolute fav detail of the shoe! So glad you did a review of this! P.S what is the elevated basics NB? Is that like a 997 collab or something? I consider myself on everything NB but i’m stumped lol

These run long and wide. I bought a second pair and went half size down. It fit perfect.

I guess the reason for the Levi's branding being on one side only is probably because that's the same way it is done on their denims, having the tag only on one side at the back part. Just a guess Btw orange laces are Indeed better

Be prepared for more stains on the laces. Denim is going to stain em even if they’re orange. It’s absolutely unavoidable so I’m just embracing it as part of wearing the shoes. And lol about the orange tab being only on one shoe. Go look at a pair of Levi’s and look at the back pockets. That’s where the inspiration is from
