I've had turf toe for the past 2 months. Bought these two wxy 4s and I'm finally getting over my turf toe. These kicks are monsters.

Happy to see this review! I'm glad new balance is continuing to sell basketball shoes in wide sizes. I bought the all black colorway already in fear of them selling out. The wides tend to sell out and not be restocked. Comparing them to the v3's I noticed the toe box is not as wide. That's a bummer. I also would of preferred another low top. I saw the hesi low is out but doesn't appear to come in a wide size... Disappointed in new balance for that. I wish I would have bought more v3's. That was my favorite bball shoe of all time looking back now.

Always unbiased and concise and straight to the point. My favorite hoop shoe review channel. I picked these up for about $60 usd last week and they are very nice so far! Very solid and versatile midtop basketball shoe imo

I’m 5’-8, 245 lbs dad bod with low arch. Man I love these shoes. Real comfortable to hoop in. I only play indoor ball and I have really good traction, lock down and decent breathability. I copped these at Dick’s for $65 which imo insanely good value for the performance. Thanks for the review, it influenced me to purchase this shoe and I’m very happy with the purchase.

The colourways so far haven't impressed me, but once they release one I like, I'm definitely giving them a try.

Love this shoe, got it in all black. Especially love it for the 2E width option. Between this and the SPO Game1, I’m set for the year. I might buy a couple more pairs of the TWO WXY v4 just so I have them in the years to come.

I'm a wide footer and bought this in 9.5 2E and the GT Hustle 2 in 9.5. Surprisingly, the GT Hustle felt roomier and had less foot pain during break in. However, the TWO WXY v4 definitely felt more supportive and sturdier. Ty for the review!

When you talk about the cushioning, it would be interesting to talk more about the forefoot than the heel compression. Landing, jumping and running should be on your forefoot. Dont really care about the heel compression. Also, talking about the drop from heel to toe would be great. Talking as a volleyball player here, thanks

Fully agree about forefoot impact protection! Skateboarding, basketball, and most recently jumprope has been hard on front of my feet. What do you wear for volleyball/basketball? Can you reccomend any shoes?

Nice review! There is a light blue/purple colorway coming soon and I'll probably pick those up. The current colorways are bleh so far, but they sound great!

Best bang for your buck shoe this year IMO. Does everything well.

I just have ordered them. We will see. I have one pair of NB - Omnis 1 and I don't like them because there's no cushion at all and your knees really feel tired after a game.

Can you name a few shows with great shock absorption and soft cushion. I have a pinched nerve in one of my right toes. So I can only hoop for so long, before it’s unbearable. I can hoop the longest in my MB.01’s and Nike PG5’s. I have Kyrie 7/Low 4’s/6’s, Puma TRC Blaze Court, Harden 7’s and Adidas Son of Chi’s. I can hoop about one good game, and I’m out when in those. Any recommendations for something super soft in the forefoot with Extra cushion. Always appreciate the help and thanks in advance. 🍻

I play on a pretty bad condition court (lots of dust) and am thinking about getting these. Do you think they will perform alright or will they pick up too much dust?

I have the V3 (that I bought following your advices) and I really like them ! - good court feel - flexible - nice fit and not to snug in the forefoot - good traction The V4 look flexible but the huge heel looks like the court feel won't be as good and you'll be on your toes with the heel to toe height difference. Also I'm not a big fan of high ankle shoes. How do you compare the two of them ?

Nice! I personally like the V4 even better - really smooth transition and court feel actually. Very comfy ride, easy to use 😃 Would highly recommend.

Great review! I love my V3s and I got them because of you. I'm not sure I'm misunderstanding, but is the white part of the midsole freshfoam x and the black part the fuelcell? If that's the case does the shoe feel unstable with the difference in cushioning?

Not much tbh, it does feel a tiny bit more elevated but not a huge difference. Very smooth ride from my experience.

Hi tommy. How is there toe width area? I have size 8 wow 10 and my smallest toe becomes sore but on my ac11 v1 theres plenty of room for smallest toe and theres no pressure point. I was wondering hows the toe box widtj on this? If its more likely similar to ac11 or cramped like the wow10? Again thanks for awesome video

not as good as the V3. They moved away from the v3 lacing system which was the best thing about the shoe.

How did your feet feel after bc the arch support in most shoes hurts me bc I have flat feet

I’m also flat foot, it felt good with the stock insole. It felt even better when I used my MOVE insoles. I will say I had to break them in, and make sure my laces were tight. I’m about to replace the flat laces with round ones so it stays tight.

SUPER close. I’d still take the TWO WXY V4, easier to use. But man they’re both top-tier performers, the Fresh Foam BB V2 is so good just quite elevated.

They’re right around average width, in some places they also have extra wide options if you have very wide feet.
