Your videos might be long timewise but they never seem long because of the info you pack into them and your humor. I have no problems watching them because I learn so much. I don't even have a camper but I remember growing up with my parents having one and my grandfather having one and we want to get one within the next year or so. It's easy to buy the wrong thing when you are ignorant of the choices of each model but you have educated me immensely so thank you very much! When I am ready I will definitely be more prepared AND I will probably even male the trip from Florida to your lot. Thanks again and take care!

I like it. It looks like a manufacturer actually took some time deciding what should go where, instead of just slapping it together as fast as possible. If I hadn't just bought a new trailer in April - that we were barely able to use, this one would be a strong contender. Thanks Josh. And I'm going to ask Santa to send me one of those Haylett RV hats for Christmas.

lol - I think they did better than I suggested. They really watched the feedback on our prototype video & crushed it!!

I like the way the TV has storage behind it. And the sofa looks comfortable. I'll be visiting a dealer near me and looking at the 166 and 199.

Jayco continues to raise the bar!!! I feel that more and more people are going the smaller is easier to enjoy and manage route!

Seems that the manufacturers are really upping their game on the 20-25Ft lengths. They are the perfect size for the vast majority of couples and singles and with the bunkhouse models, bring the kids or use for storage.

I have to say, you do an amazing job with your videos. We live out on the west coast and were researching this trailer. Your video was so thorough it was the deciding factor for us to buy. So thank you keep up the great work! If we lived closer we would buy from you!

Ta Dahhhhhhh......it has finally arrived! I am waiting to see the Murphy bed model, as well as its specs. Also looking forward for the 2021.5 changes for the geo Pro's; specifically the Murphy bed option for that too. The storage on this rig slaughters the other competitors in this size. I like it! We joke that the geo pro wouldn't even carry my national parks books. My only resistance to this floor plan is that we are physically unable to crawl over each other in the middle of the night.

I like that everything can be used with the slide closed. The smaller bed just means more snuggling. Plus, for us we try to spend most of our time outside. We will not be hanging out inside unless it's pouring rain.

Hi Josh, I wish I could have met you when I picked up this camper last month. Randy is an outstanding salesman. He was responsive to all my texts and phone calls which made it easy to purchase this camper from a long distance. Your videos also made it easy. I got a great price , almost 8k less then a local dealer. I got a great interest rate from Haylett, almost 2 points less than my credit union.This is an awesome camper. I’m 6’4” and I have been looking for a smaller camper that I can fit in. I picked this up with my F150 and it towed very easy. I can’t wait for Spring camping season.

I agree! We have multiple copies of ALL of these Feather Micros on order. We got in early so we should be in on the first production run of any of the models :)

Great video, very informative. You helped me decide to put a deposit down on one that should be at the dealer by the end of the month. We ended up going to a local MT RV dealer but we appreciate your info.

Azdel alone isn't the magic cure for delam btw -- properly maintaining your seals however, certainly is! :)

@@JoshtheRVNerd I will agree with you partially. With Luan if water gets into your walls your coach will delaminate. Any wood product is hydrophilic and soaks up water like a sponge and will expand and contract. Azdel is hydrophobic and will not soak up water therefore it will not expand and contract and it’s this force that separates the fiberglass from the wall and not just the pure presence of moisture. I agree that RV seals need to be inspected and maintained. However it’s possible to miss something and if that happens delamination with Azdel is highly unlikely. I applaud Jayco for using Azdel inside and out. Only 2 other companies that I know do this. They are Lance and Nexus motor homes. I own a Lance 1995 and full time in it. The quality construction and use of Azdel sold me on this trailer. It’s expensive but they hold their value very well. If I were in the market for a motor home Nexus would be at the top of my list! Time will be the true test of this material!

I like that, this series should do well with folks who like smaller campers and those who like to get far off the beaten path. It'll be nice to see the other campers in this series as they become available.

I meant to, but there was so much to cover here it slipped my mind Similarly, this has an enclosed belly I forgot to mention which is INCREDIBLY uncommon on single axle campers

I have been waiting to see this more in depth and I was NOT disappointed. The only thing it's missing IMO is the option to add a gas oven.

Hey Josh, Wow love that they took your input with the hanging closet space I just wish the outdoor fridge was optional, because it would be great if u could use that space under the tv as indoor storage with shelves that continues that closet-tainment idea.. On the 199 -- Jayco has no real date of availability. It's not the next one in line. As a subscriber you'll see it land within 24hrs of arrival. No other info available at this time.

It sounds like the dry weight came out higher than expected around 4,200lbs on the prototype, but these Mini Feathers will never the the lightest out there. Their bigger holding tanks/storage/body size will always weigh them in a bit heavier. Still nice for that 5500 towing crowd and up

It doesn't physically exist YET -- but we put in orders for ALL the micro models as soon as they were announced. I estimate that one will land sometime in the early 2021 calendar

The curtain can be a drop down curtain rolled up from the ceiling instead It would be a little bit of a hassle to put away but it wouldn't get caught in the slide after your camper pack up checklist.

I have a Jay Feather hybrid. My mom was wanting a tiny Airstream, I sent a link to this video.

i like the 166FBS the outside grill and fridge is a plus the RV its small but not bad , But now i got my eyes set on couger 22MLS

Even if you don’t use the outdoor fridge, it can be extra cold or protected storage to supplement the indoor fridge. Keep the extra beverages, veggies or what ever. I was rather skeptical about the little slider for this size trailer. But it is growing on me. That little bit of bump out really helps the interior roominess a whole lot more than I otherwise would have thought. It’s a bit heavier than I expect this size camper to be, but your stuffing a lot of weight adding extra stuff into this little puppy. I like those bumper bars wrapped around the outside. Going to poke around through the brochure on this one some more.

I wish they came with reflective stickers on the back of them; to warn other drivers to stay back minimum distance and wide turns like you can get for bigger trucks/ delivery trucks :) would be helpful for new drivers AND older drivers.

The little blue lights seem to help keep racoon from hanging out under your rig I have been told by others. Never had a camper with blue lights under it but if it keeps the racoon from trying to hitch a ride that is great.

Bigger than what you have, or bigger than this one? Paint me a picture. Perhaps I can provide a few ideas.

Neat little unit and lovely layout some suggestions I would make seeing it's a first generation: 1. They're under utilising the bathroom space for storage. They could add a linen closet behind the toilet like the rockwoods do. basically if they did like the 2109s bathroom that would be great even with the glass shower doors to prevent the cabinets from getting wet 2. I think they could do a bigger kitchen sink because it dont look like a plate can fit in there. But also because in rvs as long as they provide the cutting board on top u still get the same counter space 3. The curtain separator in the bedroom should slide both ways incase I prefer to place the curtain behind the TV (like the prototype version) or still be flexible for the people who want it on the slide side that would be great! 4. The under bed storage should be one huge drawer(optional) or 2 ottoman stools(option) but not 2 drawers because it reduces the amount of space if you want to store duvet or blankets 5. Like someone else suggested in the comments the tv cabinet where the outdoor refrigerator is should be indoor storage or optional for people who don't need a second refrigerator... But overall great first attempt from jayco

The 12SRK? Just had the Geo Pro version land *today* (video tomorrow). Jayco's version will be rolling through production "Soon," but that could mean anything from 3wks to 8wks the way stuff's been going

There's a world of differences between them when it comes to build method and equipment, but also a LOT of dollars variance between them as well. We also carry the Wildwood little bunk models here as well... they just keep selling the same week they arrive so we're totally sold out for the time being

something I love about your vidio is that you show the inside first. I get sooooooo tired of all these people showing the outside first. if I don't like the inside I will not be interested in the outside and they always waste my time showing it first.

Best videos on the internet. So much fun!!! 8’4” wide stated on specs . What points is that measured from? You mentioned it’s 7’6” in your tour. I have a 9 foot wide driveway so it it’s probably gonna be too tight to pull through. Unless I get a dolly and walk it back to my garage with once’s to spare either side? :)

The RV’s body is 7 1/2 wide. The 8’4” measurement is from the outside edges of the wheels that stick out past the body a little bit

Cool trailer. Now when they stop using wood for the floor, I'll consider buying one. There are plenty of composite alternatives that don't cost that much.

Bought one at Bish's in Bellevue Nebraska. Wish that it had the 12v fridge, more solar, and lithium batteries, but those can be added later. Also had them put on a WD hitch because I could feel some sway and it gets very windy here. Overall, happy with the trailer and buying experience. Heading to the Black Hills next month.

The only way to improve this would be a smaller cooktop. 2 burners placed front and back. It would leave more counter space.

Pretty sure it’s between one of these and a Geo Pro for us. A bit disappointed that there isn’t an oven option. Overall, nice trailer.

I like this one I remember when it was the prototype and I was thinking about the hanging clothes behind the TV aswell, only one thing is ,I prefer double sink, or maybe 1 little bigger, but it is good enough for myself and my dog, lol and the dry bath is awesome. And for guys who shave we need a good dedicated sink in the bathroom and it's got it. I also like the griddle. But I really think a window/wall unit AC is better for this size, and I don't care for the sky light, I have had leaking issues with them b4 is why I don't like it. All in all I give it 9/10 best I have seen so far

When I camp it's usually just for an extended weekend so I'll shave once just before leaving and tend to be good thru the trip with just some fuzz when we get back. BUT... I don't grow a giant man-mane like some fellas nor do I grow what little I have very quickly so I can get away with it.. That's actually something I wonder about. You rarely hear about guys shaving in an RV

Nothing reliable. To give you an idea -- this Rv was original slated to land here 6 weeks ago. I gave up trying to figure out when stuff is going to land. I just stand here and look out the door like an excited puppy watching their owner come home after work.

Just purchased this camper absolutely love everything about it perfect size especially for Boondock Toby on type camping in the ruler is easy to toe very travel-friendly perfect for couple little tight if you trying to bring a family with two kids but it is doable good quality the only gripe I may have is the shower curtain can be only ordered through Jayco was able to get a very good deal but I'm pretty sure haylett RV would get you one at a better deal if. Or when they would have one

I have to agree its a great inbetween a rockwood and Geo pro but that is the exact model and love it.

Great looking trailer! Waiting for the 199mbs. I noticed during the video there seemed to be a few air bubbles on the roof and also around the vents. Also wondering on the lack of roof sealant on the front cap. It just seemed to be in the area and not the full seam. Are either of these a concern? I am just comparing videos that you have posted with the Rockwood mini lites which cover the full seam. They seem a bit more sealed and didn't notice any air pockets with them. I appreciate all your videos and have learned a great deal!! Deciding between the Jayco or Rockwood mini lites. This will be our first TT purchase.

When RVs are first built they go thru a bit of an "off gassing" phase (basically like that New Car Smell really). That needs a little time to bleed out. If something is shipped RIGHT after it's built, then the off-gassing hasn't really completed. Give it a few days and she settles right down. Both Jayco and Rockwood FULLY glue their roofing down. Rockwood uses a laminated roof, however, which forces all that air/gas out of the roof structure BEFORE it is shipped. What I can tell you between a Jayco and Rockwood... you won't be disappointed either way. It'll likely come down to which one has the floor plan you prefer

They should kill off top row of drawers below the tv. Lower the tv and add larger storage above the tv. Would help to bring tv down to eye height for sofa

That was my original suggestion, but more folks pushed for the design seen here. I think either way it works.

They're getting tons of requests for it & are moving it up in their production schedule. I'm hoping we start seeing them before the turn of the calendar year

It looks very nice, I guess the only concern is the kitchen sink since the bathroom sink looks deeper that that one!

Sink size is tricky. Get TOO big and you lose the storage below it

There is nothing indicating that will be the case, but I suspect part of the reason they're using azdel on this Micro series is to "dip their toes in" before altering construction of a larger lineup

They need to make this with bunks!

They have two different bunk models coming! 5 layouts in total in this series initially with a few more in the design phase already!

Would like to see a receiver hitch on the back for cycle rack or accessories.

...ooh... good question. I do not know without checking. And since this RV sold literally one hour after posting I don't yet have another here to compare against

I’ve watched this video about 19 times now and I love this trailer. Is it more expensive if I buy it from you and have it shipped to E. Idaho? Will the local jayco fix it if it breaks?

Is Jayco now saying you can step on the rock guard. I thought I saw a sticker that says "not a step"? Love this little camper. Going to have to get one. Especially if the are selling for $25000 and under.

"Not a Step" is correct.. even though I've seen jayco people stepping on them lol

The only thing it's missing is a pop out foot rest. They could have added just a narrow cushion that popped out! Please make that your next suggestion to them.
