If you only know avengers from the movies would i be lost? I have read Marvel comics like X men, FF and Daredevil. Nice video btw

I think you’d be totally fine! This series came out during a time when Marvel was sort of “rebooting” the Avengers, so it was made to be easy to pick up, hence I don’t think you’ll have any issues

Not in this omnibus. Dark Avengers happens a bit later on in this series. This omnibus ends pretty much right before Secret Invasion

Yeah I don’t think Dark Avengers has been fully collected anywhere in omnibus format yet. But hopefully Marvel can fix that one day by continuing with future volumes of this set 🙂

Hey there! Prior knowledge will boost your enjoyment, but it’s not required. This is the start of a new era for The Avengers and is a great gateway book for the Marvel universe. It’s a Vol 1 though, and I’m assuming Marvel will eventually print a Vol 2 omnibus, so the story will continue there.

Let's review and highly recommend a book that's Out of Print, hard to find and expensive if you do. BUT then recommend not to buy it until a re-print comes out a year after it's even announced .... C'mon man !

Well, the reality of the hobby is that unfortunately books will go in and out of print all the time. The idea here was simply to share my opinion that if this book does get reprinted, which I believe is likely to happen, it’s a good one to pick up and read. That’s all I’m here to do - share my love of these stories and discuss them with others
