New Audi A3 Sportback S Line 2020 Review Interior Exterior.
The new Audi A3 Sportback features compact proportions and a sporty design. The wide Singleframe and large air inlets at the front end accentuate the dynamic character of the premium compact car. The shoulder of the body extends in a smooth line from the headlights to the rear lights. The surface below is curved inward - a new element of Audi’s design that puts a stronger emphasis on the wheel arches. The digital daytime running lights of the Matrix LED headlights are a further innovation. They consist of a pixel array made up of LED segments in a three by five arrangement that create special light signatures and make the A3 immediately recognizable. The sporty and sophisticated design is continued in the interior with the new shifter, aluminum or carbon inlays, striking door openers and an instrument panel with a black-panel look. Seat upholstery made of recycled PET bottles and adorned with stylish contrasting stitching are being used for the first time.
The cockpit of the A3 Sportback is wholly focused on the driver. It uses familiar elements from the brand’s full-size models and is equipped with a 10.1-inch touch display as standard, which is integrated into the center of the instrument panel. This recognizes letters entered by hand, provides acoustic feedback and can be controlled using natural language. The instrument cluster, which the driver operates via the multifunction steering wheel, is also digital as standard. The Audi virtual cockpit offers additional functions such as a large display of the navigation map. The plus version measures 12.3 inches and offers three different views, including graphics with a sporty look. A head-up display that projects important information onto the windshield in color can be installed upon request.
The suspension of the new A3 Sportback - with a four-link rear axle for engines from 110 kW (150 PS) - is sporty and balanced, combining pleasant ride comfort with good dynamics. Upon request, the suspension is available with adaptive damper control, which simultaneously lowers the body by 10 millimeters (0.4 in). Each damper permanently adapts to the road condition, the driving situation and the settings in the Audi drive select dynamic handling system, creating a wide spread between highly comfortable roll motion and agile handling. With the sport suspension - standard in conjunction with the S line exterior, otherwise an option - the focus is clearly on the latter. Due to the tauter tuning of the suspension and dampers and the fact that the vehicle is lowered by 15 millimeters (0.6 in), the compact model conveys an even more direct contact with the road surface.
The new A3 Sportback offers more space and functionality combined with compact external dimensions. Measuring 4.34 meters (14.2 ft) in length and 1.82 meters (6.0 ft) in width without the mirrors, the premium compact car has grown by just over three centimeters (1.2 in) compared with its predecessor. The height of 1.43 meters (4.7 ft) and the wheelbase of 2.64 meters (8.7 ft) remained unchanged. Depending on the position of the rear bench seat, the luggage compartment holds between 380 (13.4 cu ft) and 1,200 liters (42.4 cu ft), and the loading floor can be inserted at different heights. An electric tailgate, which can also be controlled with a foot motion, is available upon request.
The new Audi A3 Sportback in atoll blue metallic and the optional edition one. With expressive wheel arches, wider track and the continuous shoulder line on the side. In conjunction with the new, enlarged Audi single frame in honeycomb look, the Audi A3 Sportback looks more athletic than ever.
Thanks to progressive steering and optional Audi drive select, the new Audi A3 Sportback is equipped for almost every route. With Audi drive select, you can adapt the character of the Audi A3 Sportback to your driving style, whether comfortable, dynamic, automatic or completely individual. The efficiency mode can help save fuel.
All functions of the MMI display can be conveniently operated by touch even while driving. Thanks to optional equipment such as the Audi virtual cockpit plus and the head-up display, additional information is displayed in the driver's direct field of vision. The optional Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System with 3D sound ensures a fantastic sound experience.
In the interior, the 10.1-inch MMI touch color display is embedded in a surface in high-gloss black and, with the optional sports seat at the front, the driver-oriented dashboard and the new center console with shifter gear lever actuation - for vehicles with S tronic - provides a general level of sportiness Flair.
With optional equipment from Audi Genuine Accessories, you can make your everyday life even easier in the Audi A3 Sportback. A roof box, for example, offers you more storage space. You can choose between different colors and sizes.

really good review, just a small mention: shifter is not “wireless” but shift-by-wire means no mechanical stuff regarding the leaver but all electronic

Nice review. I couldnt wait for the new A3 to arrive so I got a A-class a couple of months back. I test drove the A3 last week and its a nice car but the A-class feels more luxurious and futuristic in the cabin IMO. And I was surprised that so much was a option, like the rear camera , the cascade turn signal, virtual cockpit etc, at least in my country. I think you get more standard equipment for your money in the A-class. But who knows...maybe I get a A3 e-tron in the future? 😀

a klasse is like a toy, rattles and squeekes everywhere. everything is rattliing plastic. really bad build quality. a3 build quality is 10x better'

Not everything. The A-class cabin feels more avantgarde and futuristic. And you get more standard equipment in the A-class. And more turning heads... a A3 just Blends in... 😊😉

It is still available. I ordered it. But it seems the button is just gone. The assumption of my dealer was, that it was moved into the touch screen.

I will be appreciated. Because i am not able to see any model in my country. The new one is not available yet.

12:26 Black "Glossy Plastics" is not a new trend man - it is and it is still an option. also, the new a3 is not smaller compare to the old one - it is actually longer, larger and taller... you say wrong informations during all the video and this contrats with the nice views you are capturing with your camera.

It is a new rule ....the gases from exhaust should go in the ground and not in the other cars or people...so they have to change it in future 👍👍

@@Thitnn it does look nice in it. Curiously it has different seats to what the UK version offers for S Line with the UK version showing full leather on the configuration tool (and looks horrible). Wonder if that is the case or if the UK version comes as in this review which I would be tempted with if so. It's a shame no cloth option is offered anymore, really not a fan of leather at all and it's pushing me away

@@SDADanCars Unfortunately been told I can only have what is offered on the website configurator, so the nicer seats would not be an option on the S Line trim and below if the site is correct. It'd have to be the Edition 1 trim which adds another whooping £5k~ on to the cost!
In my opinion the Mbux Mercedes is better than Mib 3 Audi
