Damn, this is just like the old Node videos. The AOT tribute game videos were how I discovered Node. I don't watch Node anymore but I'm still sticking with D. This video is almost like an homage to what I feel was the glory days of Node.

You’re right, it’s basically a love letter to the old Node AoT vids. Interesting note I was never in the LAN Party intro cause I was the one shooting/editing the footage and didn’t have time to put myself in. So now I finally get to be in the intro, feels good.

My favorite part from the old Node AoT series is when D is falling from the sky at Mach 10 towards the Colossal titan. The musical inflation of that scene makes it beautiful and then he anticlimactically gets 80 points. Keep up the good work D, you always were Levi in my eyes...👍

Man this video and the fan-made game are such a love letter to that Era of node, and the times I had with my friends playing the crap out of the Feng game having our our journeys, inside jokes, and just an absolute blast of time... I'll never forget my first true strike, and playing on the Annie map for months because my friends and I couldn't live with ourselves without beating it. I can't wait to try this game out once I get my headset

You can see a clear progression of skill. You went from not being to hit a statick dummy to doing tricks. Nice one.

I have a feeling that if you train in this game from day to day (as in the world of AOT), then you can really master the systems of this game and learn how to control the maneuvering gear at such a level that you can kill titans of difficulty similar to that we are given other series of computer games on Attack on Titan (which give us almost automatic attacks, unlike this game). This thought fills me with hope and ... determination.

@@siderealrose To get the build to work on vive/valve: - have oculus software running - have SteamVR running - run revive as administrator -right-click on the Revive icon Task Button (by the time / date) and select "Inject..." and select to Unity Attack on Quest build

I think it's really nice of you to give this guy exposure to his project D. It's ideas like this that modern games need rather than the typical copy and paste every year like AOT games, Fifa, COD, Battle field. They all seem regurgitated and nothing new. Glad to see this having potential with a larger crowd fund. I think the hit boxes need adjusting as I can imagine how difficult it would be to slice on here and how precise you have to be.

the nostalgia, holy shit. This actually made me shed a tear because I just....I remember watching the Node AoT Tribute Game videos, and they were always so good, there was really nothing else like them, just some dudes having fun with their friends, and this still carries the same energy of someone just having fun, this and the older Node videos carried some sort of feeling like you were just one of the friends hanging out, and I missed that

This game gameplay and combat is by far the best out of aot vr games, I just wish it would add more diversity in the gameplay, like being able to be a titan, or even possible a story mode.

The running sound when you hit rooftops is a good touch.

I have to say I really love all the work and effort that D puts into his intros to give a really dynamic feel and it also shows his love for what he does and is putting his time into.

I love how involved you get , it looks so awesome!

In the test build, instead of the blades just snapping on the handle, you have to pull them out of the sheath

can't wait to do this with my friends. With multiplayer it will be just like the attack on titan tribute game days!

Wow this looks really well done for a single developer!!! If a full team got behind this it could be turned into a crazy good VR game. The mechanics look super clean and exactly how they should feel (almost like Pathfinder)

Hey D you should check out Battle Group VR it just released and it looks awesome! It's a single player RTS where you area a fleet commander of a space fleet armada where you can control the tactics from the back lines or be right in the thick of it with your fleet! It's on steam if you're interested.

Finally someone made a video so more people can see this, I got this game when it first started out on side quest and it’s been a great treat ever since

In every video you make this so immersive that it feel like we're playing the game ourself. Well done D !

You know I found node to years later with the forest of giant trees aot fan game ep and after watching I had a full binge of the channel from 2015 up to a few ago. And seeing this is such a blast of memories of watching you guys play and node hasn't been the same without you and Brandon and I stayed subscribed in hopes that you might be in a few airsoft videos every so often but I just don't feel like node is for anymore, you, Niko, Sam and Brandon were the best symbol of friendship on KZread
