Thank you to all the people at Jet pens who make it such a nice and wonderful place. I have always had a stationary habit but I have never been a collector. I like that, - with the help of Jetpens and actually a few other Japanese stationary stores and some western pen shops - I can make the things I use every day sometimes many times a day, objects of beauty, objects whose form so perfectly follows function it can cause me to stop for a moment just to take it all in and then there are the Japanese fountain pens. I had a few nice German pens when I started - a smooth one for the journal (fine nib and smooth is a hard to find combination in even the best pens; I had a pen I liked to keep in my bag for notes and even capturing interesting ideas or the experience in a particular moment. I don't understand the proper use, the "why" of all the washing tape and so many fun and even delightful stickers and other items. As an Irish person I see absolutely no reason why a pencil eraser needs to be cute. Now you've done it! I like cute pencil erasers. Thank you for a wonderful journey and we have only just begun. G

Just wanted to say I love your guy's videos so much. Haven't bought anything from you yet (not from the US so I try to buy locally to save on shipping) but your videos are so calming and informative, never stop making them! When I find some things I want that I cannot buy locally (not that rare honestly) I'll definitely buy something from you guys.

I understand that the wax beads in the spoon is safer, but it still bothers me how much extra cleaning and plastic that must be when you can just get sticks of sealing wax with a wick like a candle. that set is very pretty, though

I use the spoon method, and there needn’t be any waste. I just add a few beads to what’s left behind. It makes blending wax colors easy & fun. Cleanup is a snap (quick swipe with a piece of paper towel).

The wax sticks with the wicks also create a LOT of soot, require more squidging onto the paper & require holding a lit stick, not to mention you get soot/burned particles in the seal. I much prefer the spoon method. You can just scrape out what’s left or leave it in & let it melt with the next seal, or just wipe it out. I’ve burned myself, my envelope & scorched the wax stick trying to use sealing wax with a wick. The spoons are even safer with the little stand! You can always cut off a bit of a stick to melt in a spoon, plus mixing colour is easier.

i have a nonstick spoon and when i finish the wax just pops right out. i reuse all of it by cutting it up and melting it back down again!

I wonder if the double-sided marker that works on all surface is the homage to that one marker product that is discontinued but is a favorite of all staffs in Jetpens? XD I remember seeing that in the beloved discontinued product video.

Ah, that product was a gel pen! Our new marker has the same characteristics, but it's a felt tip and not a ball tip.

Not gonna lie, I was not expecting a $150 price jump with the Kaweco just to go from the converter to the piston filling.
