    I.m all traxxas when it comes to truggy ,monster trucks and crawlers. But for such RC's, I'm all ArmA, XO1 is fast but almost impossible to pilot.....Vendetta is a blast to pilot.

    Awesome passes. I ended up ditching my stock servo saver and used a E Revo steering horn. Helped out with it wondering so much. It helped me get more comfortable with it and so far 134mph on 4’s. It’s an awesome platform

    @@MK1Engineering Thank you. I got the idea from K Bash rc. He also told me to get it a little harder out the hole, it usually starts sticking to the road good around that 90mph mark. I stumbled across the E Revo steering horn by accident. I got one in pieces. lol

    Nice comparison and clean passes. I'd be jumping up and down if I saw 114mph.. still in the 70s but I have a roller with gears that should crack 100mph on 3S. They are rated at 120c but more around 90-100c it seems. Noticeable difference from 50c basher batteries though.

    Thanks for watching!! You’ve got some cool cars already. If you’re interested in doing speed runs and have the ability to install the electronics/ set one up, I would recommend an Arrma Limitless. @RazShifrin has a series of 5 videos on how exactly to get one ready for the road.. and run 150+mph. If you’re looking for something cheaper/ less involved, these vendettas are a lot of fun.

  • @MK1Engineering

    @MK1Engineering

    6 ай бұрын

    @@joemomma707 thanks! Unfortunately there isn’t really a “fast” one that comes in a Ready to Run Version. A Traxxas X-01 is probably the fastest RC that comes ready to roll, but is only around a 100mph car. I would highly suggest an Arrma Limitless. A good hobby shop will install the electronics of your choice and make it ready to go. Nearly any good Castle Motor and XLX2 esc is good for 150+mph. I do know that IslandHobbyNut has some new/ built speed run cars available. You should check their website as well. They do excellent work-

    @@MK1Engineering 150mph is insane!!!!!!! Ok, you convinced me!! I just like plug and play but the hobby shop working on it instead of me is the next best thing. If you don’t mind, which exact model and motor components do you recommend?

  • @MK1Engineering

    @MK1Engineering

    6 ай бұрын

    @@joemomma707 if I were to make a recommendation from my experience, I would recommend an Arrma Limitless V2. For electronics, I would recommend the Castle XLX2 esc with the 2028-1100KV motor. This combo is sold as a set by Castle and is good for 160+ mph. You will need the Arrma 56 motor slide to mount the motor. I recommend this motor specifically because it runs cool and is very efficient. Any other motors that you run over 100mph with, you will have to let cool between runs. For a steering servo, I’d go with the Perfect Pass monster and for a radio and receiver, I would recommend a Radiolink RC6GS. The only other thing I would say is a must would be a set of Perfect Pass springs - to stiffen up the suspension for high speeds. That setup is exactly what I’m running in this car in the video. kzread.info/dash/bejne/fHt2lNWFYZmxY9Y.htmlsi=6XUaJ36dIuFujfBr
