At the opening, it reminded me slightly to essenza/pour homme... yet at the dry, it started getting closer to profumo...ill stick with profumo it is the best from the line. Great video 👍

New subscriber here Max Im a crazy fan of the whole line.. i have most of the flankers and of course the 1996 original.. my bottle not that old😂😂. I was really hoping for the same smokey finish of profumo in the Parfum.. glad ive still got over half a bottle. Looking forward to getting this one added to the collection Armani Australia has told me it will be a few months until it arrives here.. which will make it a spring/summer release. I have many in the line, and I have thought that the EDP was the best of all, and performed great. If the Parfum is even better, I’ll probably get it.

Just got my bottle this weekened a fast favorite for sure. Perfect timing for spring headed into summer.

Hi Max, do you know why some acqua di gio parfum has the icon e beside ml in front box and others not? great video as always :)

I love how honest you are with both the parfum and profumo, most reviewers are sentimental about the profumo and it cloud their judgement. You really have to try both in person before buying one tho just for starters

I still have a Bottle of 200 ml of the OG bought in 2006 and 3/4 of a bottle of Essenza, still the best one IMO, but since I discovered the niche side 😬I think I sprayed the OG once in the last 10 years and I havent used Essenza since 2009, so for me this release 🤷‍♂ It's a beautiful fragrance and I have nothing against it, it just doesn't do anything for me anymore. Thanks for the review Max!!!

Good descriptive and technical review Max. I’ve tested it. IMO I think if someone doesn’t already own an ADG bottle and doesn’t want to get a vintage flanker then this would be the one to get. Problem is for us collectors we always want the good stuff back, namedly Profumo and Essenza (which I’ve been rocking these last few weeks). Once you’ve tried those then the Parfum just doesn’t cut it for me.

I somehow prefer the more smokey Profumo to the more sweeter new Parfum, but they are very similar to each other.

I’m wearing this right now as I watch this video and I can definitely say this thing is amazing.

Pelo que entendi é o melhor, mas não vale a pena comprar se já tiver o profumo. Caso seja isso, acredito que 2024 a Armani deve vir com uma proposta no estilo do Armani code parfum. Embalagem diferenciada, e a fragrância trazendo tudo de melhor que a linha pode ter com o nome elixir.

I actually prefer that the incense was dialed back. Don't get me wrong, Profumo was still perfect.

Got it for retail at my local Dillards last week. Had it bundled with a few samples.

There's just something about the original that's unique. The parfum is good but didn't knock my socks off.

I have ADG Profumo and also ADG Parfum, I have tried using both. The aroma of the two is similar at first glance, but is actually quite different. The aroma of Profumo incense/smokey is more mature and more mysterious and elegant. Profumo's aroma lasts longer. After I finished showering I could still smell the scent of Profumo on the inside of my elbow. while the aroma of perfume is no longer detectable. I almost bought the 150 ML ADG Parfum Refill Bottle. But I decided not to buy the refill bottle. ADG Parfum 75 ML bottle is enough

I'm there with you. The EDP was hugely disappointing and way too close to Profondo but not nearly as good. If you enjoy Profumo you'll love the Parfum IMO.

Sorry" but I tested it awhile ago and honestly what made profomo special isn't in the new parfum ! Profomo is a delightful dark and light fragrance at the same time where the new parfum in my opinion is a basic scent. Luckily I have a large bottle of the vintage formula with the magnetic cap lol

It's not Profumo though. Were you expecting the exact same fragrance? Lol the Parfum is extremely well done and almost a 1:1 of Profumo with subtle differences. I have five bottles of Profumo and just got Parfum. I know. People just always have to have something to complain about.

I might just be biased but any Acqua Di Gio is a banger to me. Very versatile fragrances that you can pull off for any occasion. Now that I picked up this new one all I need is the Essenza to complete all Acqua Di Gios 🫡.

Original ADG from 1996 doesn't even exist anymore. The reformulation is 💩 and can't even get closer to the one used to be back 1996 - 2006
