Just the same reason as to why you dont buy boots, if berserk +crit but no bonus ms but the dragons spear +ms perfect for diving scenarios for argus Or i could be wrong, what the hell do i know right?

The main reason would be the price. Argus is a late game hero. To adapt and build for mid game, you have to drop berserkers. Arguably, you can build into it earlier with a component team backing you up. I run a full crit focused build, 80% crit rate 250% crit damage. The atk speed is high enough to double dip his passive, and it just activates twice, allowing for burst kills. Note: some games you'll have to either drop your boots or drop windtalker to counter heavy lifesteal/spellvamp heroes.

berserker fury is the reason why crit build hurt so much. without it unless you're snowballing, your dammage wont be that high

They need to bring back the bleeding damage to his 2nd skill. Mystic hero doesn't work at 50 stars.

Idk how you do it running without boots. Most games I play against fast heroes and even landing my hooks do nothing. Yes, his 2nd skill gives you movement. But when the enemy just flickers or dashes through the wall :/ I'm still climbing the ranks. Florida #8 currently.

corosion scythe and wind talker gives u a decent speed bt not that fast. i tried w/o boots and missed a lot of kills esp zlong, ultimate run..hehehe.😂

I just tested an emblem set with full boots (4%/10% in river/heal and speed boost) with my crit build it wasn't worth going full damage for only 305 movement and occasionally hitting 400 during 2nd skill. With the boots and regular emblem set, I hit 336. Without boots and both passives(keep in mind only in the river and outside of combat) 333
