In my experience the lines in the video are caused by LED street lights. Also slow shutter can never be used to capture license plates on moving vehicles. Great video as always.

Hi. I am using hikvision icm403 4mp camera. It couldn't capture vehicles with high speed. Is there any settings to achieve that??

Is it correct, that plate recognition mode doesnt work without sd card?

Does not seem that this model is available in the US yet. I do see we have a new IP BOX camera in and IP rated housing (IDS-2CD7046G0/EP-IHSY (11 TO 40 MM)) which incorporates DarkFighter Technology now.

@@DVSLTD Recommendations for residential street ANPR? We have a fly tipper problem and headlights are blowing out the image at night and can't get high enough shutter speed from my general overview cam. Would also like to be able to use it for ANPR gate automation access. Would love if you could cover a couple of affordable cameras you stock that could be suited for this purpose for both myself and to be able to recommend to clients.

Yes, I bought the IPC-B5442E-Z4E from EMPIRETECANDY. $239 shipped and its' great. Got it set up as a dedicated ANPR and both day and night shots are spot on with a high shutter speed.. @@mikeysky8917
