I would love to know HOW. Because why stop at animations? Costumes, textures etc... this proves that these games are moddable. I know there's people who play and mod Web of Shadows who would be quite appreciative of that!

@@giftheck i think it's because of lack of support, it's like no one went out of their way to mod the game, reminds me of the tasm2 game, before spider-man pc was released wos and tasm2 were considered the number 1 spidey games for modding skins...however there was a problem, you can't modify the lenses on most of the tasm2 suits...it wasn't until 2023 where a modder by the name of serjar figured out how to swap out lenses, now you may ask yourself, why did it take 9 years for this to happen? was the problem really that complex? nah no one really thought or cared about a way to fix them until the affirmationed modder said to himself "maybe there is a way to change the eye shapes" and low and behold tasm2 now has customizable lenses.

@@yourfatboy5359That is, of course, a very good point. I recently laid hands on a plugin for Noesis that allows you to extract the PCPack files (though animations are nowhere to be seen ATM, that might be something to figure out later on) If this can be done, then it surely can be reversed. It will be something to be looked into for sure. I can already envisage new costumes, or the Spider-Man 2 models being brought in, for instance.

I'm amazed that new animations is even a thing considering how hard it is to mod this game. I've headed it's the hardly of the Spidey games

Now we just need a re texture mod of the whole game Like a texture mod where everything is just normal and not greyish shiny and depressing

Spider-Man 3 despite its many flaws never fails to amaze me. The greatness in this game is found in the smaller things like these animations or the black suit rage mode for example. Great video ❤️

I think this game and Spider-Man 2 have the best feeling open world. By that I mean stuff like gang hideouts, interiors to explore and whole subways and sewers to visit. Games like Ultimate Spider-Man and Insomniac's games have more visually appealing worlds with a good amount of polish but their maps for me are bland af since there's little to explore outside the main city(At least you can explore a few places in Miles bit not as much as SM2 and 3)

One open world I like is Web of shadows, now yes there’s nothing to explore but the way the map is structured gives a nice backdrop for all the chaos you can bring with the symbiote suit as you racking up insane combos against your enemies

@@laffin4033 I kinda liked the third act open world more where the symbiote infection has gotten worse cause of how much the symbiote infections has gotten worse and depending on the area you're at NPCs will try their best to fight back. For example going to Harlem you'd occasionally see the gangs you fought earlier trying to fight symbiotes but if you got to areas like Kingpin's building or Stark building there's Kingpin guards and SHIELD crew doing the same. That plus certain areas of the city looking more damaged than others makes it stand out to me The earlier one before the invasion is fine but something about it doesn't feel right. Don't know if it's because it doesn't feel as lively or diverse as it should be or the way buildings are designed but I just don't like it as much as the one in the third act

The original animations look a lot more energetic, but I do think it’s cool that someone was able to make this mod

It's great to know that someone implemented new animations in this Spiderman Game. This should be an example for all modders, that new animations Can Be Implemented in Older Games to give them a New Flare.

Spider-Man 3 PC version is just pure nostalgia for me, never managed to finish it when I was a kid because of skill issues but when i finally finished it now, I feel like I accomplished something I always wanted in life!

My favorite Spider-Man game. I actually prefer the original

Just play Web of Shadows with Raimi mods, it uses the exact same engine and Shaba and Treyarch fixed the lighting and shadows there

Nah the Treyarch Spider-Man games all used the same engine but cut out stuff depending on the game

@@SpiderBen Yeah the Treyarch NGL engine. It's the same engine they used for Ultimate Spider-Man and Web of Shadows and it allowed for quicker development of the games

Kinda wish they modded the running charged jump to leap over more distance

A mod that tweaks the reflex/dodge timer would greatly improve the game. I love the amount of combos in Spider-Man 3 but it's sorta ruined by the janky dodging and countering feature. Hell Spider-Man 2 had much better dodging despite being last gen

sorta unrelated but since the modding and pc community for this game are well alive... anyone else having an issue where the game doesn't let you move forward or left at all? only lets you move backwards and right.

I wanted to like this game more but web swinging was pretty bad, I don't know how they manage to screw it and make it feel so stiff. I still think the combat in this is superior to any other SM games to date, proper beat em up style mechanics, you really feel in control, instead of dumb animations in a can and two buttons to press.
