I have the launch x431 v and it's great
It is the costly updates that are the problem with these CRP123 scanners. Bought this model 10 years back to diagnose and reset an ABS fault on my sons Honda Civic Type R. Did its job very well at the time. Was told by a garage that did their own scan that the ABS computer was bollocksed running to £Hundreds£, that was a lie. Did tests myself with this model and turned out it was just the O/S ABS wheel sensor, changed it and reset the ABS warning light, car never repeated that fault again and passed its MOT. Incidentally, anyone who cannot get their car through an MOT because of an ABS warning light, just take the bulb out, the car cannot fail for that particular bulb gone issue, it will fail every single time for an ABS warning light permanently lit up. Gives you time to sort out the issue whilst still using the car.

Well this was useless. Would have been nice if you showed us it in action on an actual vehicle.

You can do much better than this Dean. Puff piece reviews are ten a penny.
If you dont like the reviews, skip to a repair video. Nobody is holding a gun to your head.
Don't sell yourself bro, do real reviews instead
