The only things i dislike about it is the annoying outlet covers i want to rip them out but mine is still new and the fact that i cannot charge it via usb C and its usb c ports are always powered for data but wont charge till you turn on the button. The fan noise on this version is fine the old version was loud. (The DC port doesnt alway show the watts when its a small load. I pluged in a car charger with 2 ports and plugs in 2 things didnt show any use. i put a PD car charger and it showed 5)

Rice cookers are very useful even with much smaller battery packs for cooking a variety of foods or to boil water. Just check for the wattage range you need to match it to your power station.

@@DIYHomesteadProjectsDIYHP10 The Aroma 4 cup rice cooker works well with 300w power stations. It`s actually just over one REAL cup of dry rice that can be cooked...like almost 1 1/2 cup. Still that`s a lot of cooked rice. It uses about 225w power.

@@DIYHomesteadProjectsDIYHP10 That`s the cooker I tried but I`m sure the similar ones are about the same. It switches to warm mode when rice is done. What I do it switch it to warm mode (50w) and put a towel over the top to hold in heat once the rice begins cooking to save power in emergencies. Lid is glass so you can see the food inside. For boiling water get one with a stainless steel pot. The non stick ones add a weird taste to coffee and tea. Inner pot can be removed for cleaning.

These will run the old Frigidaire manual 5000 btu air conditioners. If you max out the solar charging and set the thermostat where it`s balanced right this can power it longer than you might think during the hottest/brightest part of the day as long as the sun is bright and you`re getting full charge input.

You'll need something that can generate at least 1400 watts to power a 5000 BTU air conditioner. This unit does not put out no where near the wattage needed to power any ac unit. I'm sure this unit can only use a 200 watt solar panel max.

Can you please test the UPS feature by running a PC on it and then pull out the AC Cord to see if the PC is still on?

Yes, the UPS feature works fine for a PC. Seamless function of the UPS and the PC stays on when the AC cord is unplugged. I used a MacBook Pro but I'm sure it will perform the same with a PC.

I own one it works really good but i do notice stuff like fans run at a lower speed when you unplug it from AC power.
