Evirth love it! My brother drives an M3. Yes, the M3 is a more powerful machine, but the C43 is just something else. My brother too was impressed. Life was shit before my C43. Life has been good since then! Haha

Finally a proper objective review about the car. Didn't spend 10 minutes complaining about the AMG badge unlike another review mag/channel. Looking forward to the Rs5 review!!!

Sickset C43 I agree. I suggested to someone that this is a better choice moneywise than the A45 and I got head chewed off.

I bought this exact car in December 2017. Having had the car for four years now, it is without question, this is the best car for my driving experiences that I have ever owned and that includes over a c7 Corvette that I had. This is just a fun, reliable car to drive. In the four years I have had it, I have had no issues or maintenance requirements beyond the normal periodic service.

I just got a 2023 C43 coupe. The last of the V6 Biturbo and I...love...it. Best daily driver and a great beast when you want it. It doesn't look like the 2024 amalgam of the C and E classes into the CLE coupe, but the Bauhaus design gets me every time. It's a keeper. Thanks for the great review!

Good review, well done. Took delivery of my C43 sedan 6 days ago. Performance exhaust sounds much better in person than on video. This car makes you want to drive....constantly!

C43 owner here, and I am totally regretting not have the performance exhaust option on my car. The difference is huge!

In my opinion, the C43 is actually MBs answer to the Audi S4/S5. (Credit and respect to the A45 but that is MBs answer to the Audi RS3/ Golf R etc. ) The C43 is not actually a downgraded C63 because Mercedes is expanding its lineup to attract all. MB offer now front wheel drive, all wheel drive and of course their flagship rear wheel drive. I love the new Mercedes C Class coupe in general and this particular version of the car is a masterpiece. Price wise although the A45/CLA45 are excellent in their own right, the C43 has a better interior, better balance, better sound, and a better drive. As an all wheel drive quick daily driver, that is luxurious, super quick and un flustered ..this is the car to have.

Great analysis mate. Could not agree more. I have a 2019 c43 and My choice was the c43 or s5. C43 is much more fun to make videos with. Awesome sounding v6.

I’ve had both cars. Audi S5 was definitely the inspiration for bmws m division and Mercedes Amg for expanding there “sports” cars. I actually prefer the C43 coupe because it’s much more reliable, has a better interior, and a louder exhaust. It’s also a lot faster off a roll then the Audi is and they’re around the same quickness off the line.

ABAUTO lol I had the Audi S5 and sold it for a C43. Mercedes seems to have a lot less engine issues. My Audi had coolant leaking at 20000k miles. Luckily, it was under warranty saving me around $750-$1000, and I sold the car after it was fixed. Audi isn’t as fun, but I would say the 60% rwd 40% fwd biased quattro is a lot safer and less skittish at high speed cornering compared to the 4 matic 69% rwd 31% fwd. Mercedes definitely is the more sporty car and the ride is harsher.

Wow, finally a review of a 43 where the reviewer "gets it". C43 sedan owner here and I did lots and lots of searching for the right sport sedan and inclement weather usability was a must. The C63 is a great vehicle but it's not what I was looking for in a daily in the snow belt. I already have a RWD Monster I didn't need another car that was useless in winter! :) This car just checked off all the boxes, badges or no badges! Fantastic Review!

I've hit the 10K mark on my C43 so far and it's been flawless in that time. I've taken it on a few long trips and right now it's clawing it's way through some nasty weather and I'm loving it! Now I will say that the summer sports car tires that came standard with the 19" wheel upgrade, aren't the best choice for snow... But the AWD system is pretty flipping amazing and it's been able to get me out of my steep, unplowed driveway with 5 inches of snow in it. Try that with a C63 :)

I have E43..... perfect fit for me. Don't want 4 cylinder, don't need 600HP. 400 HP will work just fine!

I love my e43!! It digs when I’m driving a bit aggressive and is very direct when maneuvering. I get about 15-16 mpg in the city. Worth the money

Great review! Many car salesmen want to push the C63/s, when one says I am interested in an C class AMG, however if a car salesman spoke the way you did about the C43, I would probably buy it right there and then! Great info, very detailed. Definitely convinced me since I was stuck between both. That much fun is a must buy!

Great review. I've just bought one myself. As someone who has owned an m3, m4 and c63, let me tell all those little c63 fan boys, the c43, in real world driving, will leave the m4 and c63 spinning their rear wheels at traffic lights while that 4matic c43 races away without a seconds hesitation. super car

Great review, I have the 2018 facelift Estate version and it’s an unbelievable car, does it all in one car - you really don’t need anything else. I second the sports exhaust option, made sure of this when looking at the cars and don’t regret it at all. I am saying this coming from a 911 (997), which I loved, but finally saw some sense and got a more practical car, but similar performance.

January 2018 Life Goal: Buy a new AMG C43! In love with this car! Great presentation!

I fucking love my C43 (sedan). Love that you mentioned the sleeper aspect. I was going down a freeway having some fun with an STi and the police pulled that dude over versus me even though I'm pretty sure my car is quite a bit faster overall and was going faster at the time. It's a nice interior and in the climate I'm in it's a way better car considering the rain etc. Anyone that talks crap about it hasn't driven it.

Very much enjoyed your review! When you were addressing the firmness of the C43 versus the 65 were you speaking only to the more aggressive suspension settings, or do you feel the 43 is also quite firm even in the Comfort setting?

Had this car 6 weeks now and no regrets - Awesome machine and great fun. Only Average about 21 MPG, but brilliant to drive.

I've owned this car for now 2 years and every minute driving it is a charm. AMG all the way

I'm in the market to get a C43 as a second daily, currently have a 911 991. I've seen just about every video there is out there on the C43 and this is by far the best one done on the model. I can easily tell you know your AMG's and that you really appreciate the product. Your video's are top drawer too! On par with TV production quality!

Remove Before Race, well today I went and pulled the trigger on an ex demo C43 coupe in diamond white with night package. It was primarily your review which helped me make the decision between this and the M3 F80 for my second daily driver. Cheers bud!

This is one of the few if not only objective review of the C43 coupe ... its usually undermined by the dominance of its elder sibling (c 63 s coupe) ... but you really as you mentioned in this video, its a totally different machine ...certainly not any less fun to toss around a highway.

Hi can you do a video on the c43 cabriolet 2017 full loaded , im about to switch my c63 amg w204 for the c43 cabriolet but i cant find a video that explain the car and all the packages and options because for me buying a not full loaded mercedes is a bad idea.. i like the coupe night package but the cabriolet got my heart

If the car has the exhaust button, does that mean it has the performance exhaust, or does the stock exhaust also have that button?

Would you have it over an m240i? Does the trans lag in manual upshifts?

Love my c43! Thought about the c63 non S version because it has 4matic but it ended up not being worth it for me. Given a choice between c43 & c63s however (if i could only have one)........even though i love my 43.......i might have chosen the 63. Just my 2 cents

You have video on C43 sedan?

For me this is the real AMG-car of the C-class. I prefer the V6 sound over the V8-noise and at least this car you can use now and than to its full potential, while the C63 is just an overpowered Mad Max

Please consider adding a AMG C43 2021 Coupe - buying one ASAP> Rumor of downgrading the engine in 2022? Thanks for the extremely professional + informational review!
