for AM, I am tempted to modify it as last stage AM modulation. 1 KW carrier will give 3-4 KW peak power. AG6JU

How do you tune the thing up using the plate and load knobs?

Tune for modulation.. honestly your better is off just watching someone do it . If you see somone do it 1 time you will know how to do it..
