Most important, it can be flat towed from that bumper..that have many attachments to adapt it

one great thing about Rock Hard Bumpers is you can flat tow with them. No need for a tow bar. You will need to purchase from Rock Hard the tow bar brackets and they have a variety of ones to pick from. not that many bumpers that are rated for flat towing. pricey but you get what you pay for.

Now, I can't wait to see you choose the style and the type of bumper for your new Mojave Rob. I know you mentioned before the year that you'll install the Rubicon bumper. Rockhard makes the best quality aluminum accessories. That Powder coating is stupid tough on their products. (My alum skid plate can attest to that). Glad it protects the reservoirs. Looks great. Good work on the install.

I can say that it fits in the same space as it did before the switch. If it added any at most it is 1-3 inches

@@robmotiveplus I think of all the front steel bumpers Mopar designed the nicest one where you don't have to have a winch. Rebel off-road are really nice as well but they are steel and have recess for a winch which is great if you want one. Their rear bumpers are really nice too.

Not a huge fan of hooks. I’ll probably never need the D-rings but I find them more secure.

Good morning Rob. Excellent editing on the project. I’m still happy with the bumper the little RockHard chrome piece came off, it was careless with its hair dryer and well.... if it had been black I’d probably left it but it wasn’t and I didn’t.

Do the exposed fog light wires and wiring connections need to be waterproofed? They are enclosed in the OEM bumpers.

You can see the bar but no there is plenty view. I was curious about that myself.

I’m thinking between being aluminum and a really good powder coat finish (not the cheap Chinese finish) I think it would hold up very well to the salt. It better hod up, my home backs up to the Laguna Madre, supposed to be, the 5th most salty water body in the world. That is the reason the steps were aluminum.

RockHard makes great products! I have several of their components on my LJ.

They do build a snubby and a mid length. Delete on the bull bar is an option. I like it we have wildlife that a collision with can cause a front end removal. To me, the bull bar offers some grill protection. But the good news is you can get one built just like you want.

Had to do a search didn’t know the brand, but didn’t know RockHard till I started my current search. Front design looks very similar does yours have the lower skid plate? Couldn’t tell in the pictures. It is a good looking design are you happy with it?

How do you like that LoD bumper how is the finish? They have an interesting rear bumper. Rock Hards bumper doesn’t have tabs they go for holes for the hooks.
