WTF Ford first the fiesta the best selling car for a number of years is axed with no replacement in the small car market were given an electric suv the Mach e then the focus is announced that that is being axed then we get the explorer and now this! And the rumours that the Mach e is axed soon to because it’s just not selling some of us still want a small ish hatchback ideally a hot hatch!!!

This looks nothing like the capri. I was so excited when I heard there's a new one, but this is a bit disappointing it's not got that long front. This just looks like a knockoff of the urus. Just like everyone else is doing first, they do it with the phones, which most look exactly the same. Now it's suv cars. I wish the world could apply the effort it use to.

I was at Ford during it's heyday. No, I don't see any resemblance to the original Capri. It looks just like any other SUV. It needs a longer front end and should be at least 100 - 150mm lower.

Not everyone needs a family car! Bring back a 2 or 4 hot-hatch!

You didn't nail anything. Not all cars have to be practical and not all have to accommodate a family inside. Not everyone has to have even 5 doors... You don't need a 17-liter refrigerator in your car. Part of the life of a car fan is to stop sometimes, meet people and simply buy a cold drink at a gas station or fast food...

It was an icon, you ruined it. Stylistically and also by making it an electric white goods appliance as opposed to a desirable machine. Absolutely no soul I think ive nailed it! 😂

I doubt i will ever own one but if i do i hope the front end is redesigned to look more sporty. Presently it reminds me of a Bull nosed Morris.

I don't like to be negative, however I think Ford have missed an opportunity, the Capri was sleek and this most definitely isn't. The front end is really blocky, had Ford designed an electric Capri that was a two or three door coupe I might have been interested. In the same way Dodge's new Charger is a coupe or 4 door saloon (sedan) and as an EV or with a petrol engine, which is brilliant and would have worked in the UK with the Capri. Sadly this is just another electric SUV of which there are far too many on the market already and definitely doesn't meet my needs or interest.

The car that only Ford (with Volkswagen's help) could build. It wasn't enough to bastardize the Mustang with the Mach E. You had to exploit the Capri's name, even worse than when you placed that moniker on an Australian built Mazda 323 in Miata drag, or when that name became a way for Lincoln-Mercury dealers to sell Mustang copies. What's next? An Australian electric crossover called the Falcon? You might as well.

This Capri looks like a Dacia Logan a bit more futuristic. Totally ugly car.

I would rather have the Dacia. Priced sensibly too unlike what ever outrageous cost this appliance will be. At least the Dacia has a machine inside, if small! No soul with electric

Detroit is dead folks. I'm a Ford fan but this is way off a Capri. Say what you want about China but I recently bought a BYD Seal Performance, and I reckon it'll be cheaper than this Capri, and much closer to the spirit of a Capri than this cube on wheels.
