I love the 380 so much. Very quiet and so much space.

The A380 is a commercial succes, but not because its sales, but because of the luxurious identity he provided to airbus... we can say airbus began the major manufacturer AFTER the A380, but i'm not sure it would be the case if this plane had never existed ;-)

Not really. Airbus was already one of the two biggest aircraft manufacturers in the world. Believe me Airbus themselves would change the A380 concept to something else if they had to do all back. But let's be honest Airbus did not fail because it was supported by European taxpayers.

We Europeans tax payers are happy to have an airline that design and manufacture reliable aircrafts. Besides that, A380 program produced tons of state-of-the-art innovations now applied to the rest of Airbus lineup.

It won't happen. Quadrijets are obsolete regardless of how efficient the engines can be, they cannot beat a 777 or a A350 cost-wise.

Yup right now the most tracked flight on flight radar is a Global A380

It was a ferry flight from the storage area in the desert to prestwick with an overnight stop in Toronto. No passengers and was flown the whole way with the landing gear down.

Emirates would have reach the 25b by them self

There will never be an A380 Neo. The factory is building other aircraft types, The tooling is gone, the supply chains are gone and an order for 150 of them wouldnt get close to making a neo economically viable. It would take orders for at least 500 before it would even get close to viable.

Global is flying their first a380 on a 4 leg trip and yesterday roof off drone the vine yard. Global airlines is flying it in china southern colors because it came from the bone yard

Making a plane that requires to modify airport infrastructure was a dumb move.

Best plane out is the A380 was upset they dropped them because of Covid so it’s nice to hear

at least, it operates, in contrast to the 777 X, and fills the gaps for the time being. So, let's see when the 777 X will finally come an whether there is still a need for a plane like the 380
