I do the same thing with the ham bone :) my MIL gave me her recipe for ham and bean soup and it’s so delicious! My husband will eat all of it in about 2 days.

For the lego, you definitely build 1 bag at a time. There should be a book with instructions for each bag. We’ve never opened more than one numbered bag at a time. We dump one bag out on a plate build it and move to the next. we’ve built numerous things.

A great motivation after Christmas. Good day.

I want to start eating better as a family. Making healthier food options and setting an example for my children. I would also like to incorporate some family exercise (riding bikes, evening walks, fun exercise videos) time outside (we live in the south so it’s pretty much warm year around). My goal is to declutter one room per month until I’m done. 😊

After that workout you don't need the gym. 😊You make me recall what it was like to have 4 little ones at home and all those little pieces in the sets of toys. Love bean soup and cornbread!!

We have a big suit case that we store our Legos in. 😂 that's what my mom used and it works well for our family. I would buy the bins but we have too many Legos for something like that.

Seriously, buy plastic totes for each lego set... yes, i know it sounds nuts. Put all the pieces and the booklets together in a tote box. We did the "creative play" approach and put them all together in giant bins. Now we are years and years into legos and its just a hot mess. Trying to rebuild a set out of giant totes worth of legos is nearly impossible. I would not recommend what we did. 🤪

As your kids get older, you'll find out if your kids really are "Lego" kids bc if they are, they won't care how their legos are stored & will be able to build whatever just by dumping out or digging thru a large bin lol. But for now, store each one in a gallon zip lock baggie with the directions showing.

My daughter loves Legos, too. We have a table where she can build her Legos, and it has bins where you can store the Legos.

I bought a plastic bin with lock lids for the Legos. Also had to ask for no more Legos once that bin was full lol. He had a little table he used to build on and now has a desk.

OMG, all i see you do in this video is clean spaces. I can't believe how much mess your two make. they need to learn how to pick up their stuff when they're finished with them. I know that they're young but its never to early to get them into the mode of cleaning things up. I dread taking down the Christmas stuff and the packing and taking things upstairs to where they're stored. I want to become more motivated in the new year. keep things cleaned and organized. I've begun to loose weight and I want to continue
