Great caravan - love the space and how its laid-out. I appreciate the humor. I took my curtains out cause I did not like them.

I also thought curtains were just a fluffy extra, until our blind failed one night as we went to bed, so they do have their uses. Look forward to seeing you at Trudgfest.

Great to see you in the van at last. We find curtains make it feel cosy during the winter nights. The view from the bedroom really shows how light and airy the van is. Great with the no snagging all our new vans have had problems from the off, British vans though. Great video.

Thank you. Yes I have to say that I personally like the curtains but Karina is not bothered. I feel that it softens the lines, feels cosy and breaks the colours up a little so yes very much a 50/50 split in our household. 👍👍

I would have liked to have seen the cooker lid open, and the screen operation. A chest is compulsory for us. As for water hogs, the sooner there are more serviced pitches available the better! A lot of film of the nice lady doing it, but I would have liked a bit more tech detail. Good luck with your trips!

Really love your new van lovely and spacious only negative for me is the window above the bed rather no window there. We have a new Bailey Unicorn Vigo same lay out. Enjoy your new van. :)

Good review. Disappointed that Fudge not welcome in caravan.

Smashing review. We've owned an Adria Thames for three years with no problems, Love it!! Agree with your comments about the curtains so removed ours when we first got the van and added a few extra USB sockets :-) After watching your video I am going to nick your idea for a tooth brush holder....thanks. Nice caravan, really bright, airey and spacious! I've just moved to an Aquaroll from the WaterHog, 51 litres was just a tad too big for us. Mind you it took us 3 years to decide that :-)

Yeah not sure of the benefits of the extra size just seem to use more water when it’s available. I must say that thanks to the sun roof and roof windows make it very bright even on the rainy days. 👍. Thank you for taking the time to comment.

Well what a comprehensive and lovley video. Much better than the one by er er I cant rember his name but he has a dog Dougle and a red check shirt. Seriously though nice to see the genuine pleasure you have in the choice youve made in a van. You seem to be getting to grips with functions and switches etc and I can see many many lovley days ahead in the years to come in this and any future units. Totally agree on the curtain front. Weve been caravaning since 1993 all had curtains and blinds and so we have never touched a curtain ever. We now have a swift motorhome ( dont shout at us were old and decrepid so wussed out a while back) one of the best features are the patterned padded window surrounds and no curtains. RESULT. Anyhoo just finally thanks for posting and much joy to you in your new Van looks great. Ps only kidding Andrew you vid was great too.

That’s a long wait for one mind it was a year ago but we just ordered a swift elegance grande 635 and they took 4 weeks to make it from factory

Great review of a cracking caravan, would be nice to be offered the option of a soft or firm mattress though, soft for me, bit of a pain having to get a topper.

Great review, lots of detail. I also did not think I would ever use the curtains, but actually, with strong sun, it is a good way to protect the interior. The blinds can stretch if used excessively and can also trap too much heat in the wrong places.

Thank you for your comments. I think that they will be useful in these circumstances but I think it’s just the general look that Karina doesn’t like. This is our first trip away so time will tell. 👍

Stunning van, good choice, great review, though if it meant my dog not being allowed in i’d have bough a decent pre owned van so i wouldn’t be worried about him messing the fabrics.

Totally agree being able to chose between having curtains or not, we don't close ours

Our little shitzu foxy mix Kenneth, has never hopped up on furniture, uninvited, but when we put his cover over anything he knows he can hop up for a spell, he loves to lie in his bed on the floor, he is well behaved...as part of the family he's welcome in our new caravan...we bought an annex so he can run around out there during the day, whilst I sit out there and do my hobbies...your caravan is lovely as is the awning and I wish you many happy and safe holidays...Do you take Fudge with you and does he/she stay in the awning area if so. Is Fudge a large med or small dog? Thank you for sharing...Kathy...

Good Morning Kathy, thank you for commenting - yes we would probably do the same if Fudge was a Shitzu size. 😊 Fudge is a large German shepherd he is very strong as well and quite clumsy so he would break things unintentionally in the caravan. We have a large crate that takes up most of the boot and what we do is keep his crate in the awning - not so he is locked in just so he has his bed and familiarity as we move around alot. 👍👍

Hi I liked your video, thanks. I was just wondering...if you don’t like the curtains, not sure what the set up is in an Adria, but in our Bailey, they just unclip out in about 10 seconds, so you could take them out, put them in a box in the loft and put back in when selling. Just a thought to help you out. Cheers, Tim

Just saying that the awning rail has to be opened on the offside to allow the cover in to protect the front of the van. This is normally closed but we paid £40 for this to be opened to allow access to the awning channel. I have been on the Cadac everyday and have not been sparing with the gas at all. I must say I checked the level this afternoon and it doesn’t look like we have used any at all. Well impressed. Really didn’t know how much we would use but at this rate it will last us very well. 👍

Just joined up with you as love your review. Lovely bright and airy caravan. As I am currently sizzling in Cyprus I wonder whether anyone has had heat problems with all the top windows? I know they have blinds but if travelling in my direction on the Med, would they cope keeping the caravan cool enough? I remember as a kid camping in the 60/70's sweltering in the Sprite Musketeer and others without the extra windows. Looking forward to keeping up with your travels :-)

Hi Liz, thanks for watching. Most caravans will struggle to stay cool in hot weather. We took ours to Sweden last summer and it was 34 degrees. It was certainly warm inside! Most people opt to fit a roof mounted air con unit. Enjoy your good weather and thank you for your comment 😊 Karina

Can't you just take the curtains out if you're not keen? I use mine when mine is in storage to stop the upholstery from fading, but that's because I've got the older style sprung roller blinds, which you can't leave down.

HI, firstly what a great review. We've have also been looking at the Isonzo at Stuart Longton's but I cant remember seeing the USB plugs in the show model. Did these come as standard in your new van or were they an option that you had fitted. Did you also get the ariel fitted at SL's?. Keep up with the reviews as you use the van as they are a great source of information.

Lee thank you for your comments. The USB sockets came as standard think these have now been fitted new for 2018 due to customer/ Andrew Ditton feedback, The only extras that we opted for were the TV aerial, motor mover and the offside awning channel opening for our Tow Pro cover. We will keep on with our bits while ever they help people as that’s what it’s all about. If you do use Stuart Longtons then I would personally ask for Marian as she is fantastic and will answer any questions you have. 👍

Great review, we're debating on either the Isonzo @8' or the Seine @7' 7". Did you have the Alco ATC installed, if not, how do you find it tows while on the motorway etc?

Good afternoon, as far as I’m aware when we were looking the ATC was only available on the Alpina range so we didn’t have the opportunity to have this fitted. I must say that it actually tows extremely well. The longer A frame does make a huge difference in the stability. Either one I’m sure you will be extremely happy with it. Please keep us informed on how you get on. 👍

Hiya, well we've just been to see one 'in the flesh', and have decided to go for the Isonzo, it just makes more sense to us all round. We also now have a much better storage site (albeit an hour away), but it's a gold site as opposed to a field behind a builders yard so that's a result. Not sure if it'll be this years model as the dealer had two on order (one already sold) but the other one's gone missing... if that one can't be found, then we'll go for the 2019 model which will be early next year. We didn't opt for the ATC as it's £600'ish more as it'll need the euro version for the Delta axle, and as you say, the length plus longer A frame should provide a stable tow... we will be adding shock's though.

Well we should know by tomorrow if the illusive Isonzo has been found or not, if it has, we'll be using it in Sept, if not, it'll be early'ish next year. We both found your's and Andrew Dittons reviews very helpful, both reviews answered a lot of our questions, so thanks to both of you and to Andrew we are swapping to the light side ;).

Hope you can point me in right direction...only recently "discovered" Adria caravans and am struggling to find online brochures....I am looking for an older model Adria - 2014 / 15 with the exact layout as your Isonzo. Or an end island bed with a central / middle toilet with seperate shower. Any suggestions? TIA🌸

Are there an Adria twin axle version of the Isonzo?

Sorry for asking, but what is that 'extra' for the motor mover, we had the same model fitted to our van last year but didn't get that 'extra'.

It’s the isolation switch for the motor mover. We were told normally this would be fitted in the battery box but there is limited space so they have fitted this next to it. Hope this helps. 👍

Ahh, gotcha, ours is, as you say, in the battery box. That really is a superb van and I hope you both (and mum) have many great times in it. We did consider the Amazon model when we were looking around last year, but due to its size, storing it would have been a problem, so we opted for a Coachman VIP 520 and we're very happy with it.

Can I ask if you honestly notice a BIG difference when towing this van as we have a new one on order from Stewart Longtons.We at present have a Coachman VIP at 7.45 long 2.32 wide, was your old van similar length/width?

We got ours from Longtons too and had great service. Yes you will notice the difference with the width and length. We always plan our routes and make sure the sites will accommodate a large van on the pitches and the entrance. They do Tow very well but just swing slow and wide and you will be fine. We would not swap our Isonzo for anything and we are away in it for most of the year now with various trips. Just be aware of the near side if there are any hedges or walls and if in doubt just let people pass before going through a narrow space. Any questions just send us a message..enjoy your Adria 👍

STIGu1993 - These two folk’s are caravan reviewers, even if this is their own caravan. If you find the content well within your capabilities, then so be it.

Can never understand caravans not using the shower, often seen people walking in the rain to showers I am in and out before they return you've spent all that money why not use the shower😢
