Ooo, Duracell AA, I am so used to 9V on my infrared thermometer that I use for chocolate tempering and occasionally to check controller VPD. Nice little device. Hilarious ending, nice under canopy FlexStar.

Just received the new ac infinity meter yesterday and already while testing it out I realized that it is defective as the "Ambient Temperature" does NOT work/read correctly, without using the calibration feature the meter says that the ambient temperature is 79F degrees even when I'm standing inside a "Walk-in freezer" though the "leaf temp" was measuring at -2F degrees inside the freezer. I tried it outside as the air temp outside is 63F degrees but the meter also claims it is 79F degrees ........... I did try adjusting it via the calibration feature and all that did was make it keep reporting the wrong temperature readings as no matter what the meter seems to have a stuck reading when it comes to ambient temp, I did try doing a factory reset and that did NOT fix the issue either Would love to know if anyone else is having this issue or if I just received a bad unit

I have same problem I checked my freezer pointing the meter to and read 79 no changes at all

Why are these better than the ones from ali express for a few dollars, probably made in the same factory. My one for a few dollars is still going after many years. Tent controllers all have vpd

This Vpd trend makes me laugh it's just a high tech way of saying Humidity or RH like run it at like 50-55%RH no need for any Vpd. Like micro mols pees day BS you don't need to know that ether, in Nature they hey blasted buy light that NO Led can match yet for a decent price any way, but every indoor grower is worried about burning there plants, if there burning its probably over fertilising, I've never seen a burnt out door plant not even in 40c Summer, make me laugh fellas, there's an old saying... KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID... hydro growers over complicate things and there's were all the problems come from 👍🇦🇺

Plants will naturally be more hardy when grown out side. I’d like to see you grow indoor with 40c heat and no issues. If you don’t know about vpd you could be missing out big time. If the heat is to high and humidity is to low your plants will not like it. No wonder most of the weed in aus sucks 🤣

🤣 I love you guys !!! Tools are great to dial in… not sure why folks go off on tangents about sunshine and growing indoors. Just give the plants the proper variables needed and be the doctor to your patients ! Grow em big !!!
