    Great drone video footage Trevor. In so many of your videos i see new housing developments all around you. How long til you AZ farmers are going to be able to continue farming in your area?

    To reduce/ avoid the ruts in the damp alfafa field. (if the Mouse cart is unavailable) Could put multizone central tire inflation on all the semi's and trailer's wheels.(might have to be careful of air line snags in corn silage fields). The Mouse/ Mice could be assisted with a Euro type conveyor loading machine with a wireless camera system, rather than the chain slats in the Mouse, the belt loader and a camera monitor in the haul truck could potentially load the semi more evenly, though the conveyor requires an extra tractor. (e.g see Becklönne Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG youtube).// If the ruts are present. Could put central tire inflation (and airbags) on the road runner type bale squeeze to help operator's field ride. Beyond that is expensive. A rough terrain forklift (as a bale squeeze loader) with larger tires, would require a low loader ride to the field. Telehandlers/ rubber tire loaders can do short road distances - depending on road rules. Tractor and front end loader, might need foldable arms on the squeeze and height adjustable back fence (see Heath Engineering, UK facebook super spike bale handler) or a tractor pulled trailer to transport the squeeze between fields.

    Those ruts left in the field are why most European farmers use high flotation bunk out trailers or specially designed trucks in wet conditions.

    If we have a short distance to go, they will as well. Unfortunately most of this has to travel 15+ miles. Last year they had enough man power to run a super cool cart with floatation tires. Go look about a year ago.

    I noticed what looked like new houses in the background. Has this changed or hurt your farm operations any?

  • @BalesHayFarmandRanch

    @BalesHayFarmandRanch

    5 ай бұрын

    Yes, currently being built. It has ultimately hurt us. Lots and lots of new garbage in the fields. Lots of trespassers. Driving up land prices. Garbage in the ditches, plugging up irrigation. If the people that were moving here were horse people, that would be helpful. But not many are.

    This is a field we custom harvest all summer. Then purchase the hay. In the winter we can’t bale it. So these guys come in and harvest it. I promise we’ll get back to baling soon! It’s pretty boring around the shop though. Thanks for watching. I’m doing my best to keep it interesting.
