Big negativ point is that it just got 110db spl instead of 140db on the first gen. That reflect in heavy distortion in windy conditions and also useless for recording loud car audio or drums

Thank you for pointing that out! That was on my thumbnail template (with bottom right video length so I know where not to put text) and I forgot to turn it off before export!

very similar sound to the videomic go ii. I don't see a reason to get the videomic go ii over the new micro.

I dont know why Rode uses those Red shock mounts. It's much cleaner to have a dark grey or Black.

The original video micro give me a big jump in quality. Just the cable was a little bad.
It’s not really a baby NTG.
RODE could sell a literal box of dog crap and it would produce good sound
I really don’t know what the marketing team at rode is thinking.
They don't give the dead cat we have to buy it separately
