    While the sculpt tools won't replace Zbrush or 3D Coat, I can see this coming in useful for some quick basic sculpting without having to leave Max, which is always a plus. Plus throwing it on an Edit Poly modifier gives you instant non-destructive sculpt layers.

    If anyone really wants to have a sculpting tool integrated inside the modeling software, Blender is the way to go. And for sculpting on the go, Nomad Sculpt is insane!

    @@srdjankovic never said it's superior. I'm talking about modeling with the possibilities to sculpt inside the same application. Not gonna argue about zbrush being THE sculpting app. But nobody can claim that zbrush is the one and only. I've seen a lot of 3D sculptors talking about switching to Nomad and using Zbrush just for some polishing.

    As a 3D artist, I find that 3ds Max and Blender can coexist. If Blender undergoes a coordinate system transformation, changing the Y-axis to Z-axis, I can import animations from Blender to 3ds Max and vice versa

    Don't Max and Blender have the same Z axis (up/down)? Maya is different with Y axis being up/down. I noticed that Houdini is also Y up/down. Is this new in Houdini?

    @@pascalcreativedesign8790 Yes, in the software, it's like that, but when exporting to FBX, Blender interprets up and down as the Y-axis. This leads to errors when exporting bones from 3ds Max to Blender and vice versa

    because it kinda doesnt make sense for them to develop a sculpting feature in 3ds Max when there is ZBrush in the pipeline. Instead they can focus on where Max truly shines and that is modelling for example.

    ​@@hound_of_justice No... we lose the stack when running it and experience a destructive workflow. It doesn't necessarily have to be better than ZBRUSH. I just want a slightly better brush set.

    @@hound_of_justice zbrush maya max substance painter which are all expensive or do everything in blender. Easy choice for me. And some ppl use md for clothes which is also insane expensive

    if max doesnt make it free for everyone and figure out a way to do $ like blender, its sad to admit it but blender will take over ir and max will be a thing of the past

    I would agree but my employer gives me a free license for any Autodesk or Adobe product. My employer makes 30 billion dollars every year😂. Something tells me Autodesk will do fine without u
