    I actually sat on that bike, but it was a white one. I dig it so much, but I am going to get the blue one.

    Great review as always. Informative as well as comprehensive! As a new rider at 50 , whats your feeling of me leaving it in Rain mode (C) as I get experienced riding? No one can tell me what the " Rain Mode" Torque response curve would be like.

    Cool GSX8R. Nice review. The yellow and black is a cool combination. I wish Kawasaki made more in these colors.

    Thanks for this video. I testrode this bike and loved the handling and the comfort. Im 6’2 and this is so roomy. Love the higher bars. At this pricepoint there is no other sport bikes out there with fairings with higher bars and as roomy as this bike. Its more like a sportstourer and thats just what i want. Dont interested in track riding. You have to go up in cc and in price to get the lovely Kawa Ninja 1000sx. Thats a great bike but to expensive. Whish Kawa could make that bike in 800-900cc. I loved the Suzuki. Though it felt a little quirky in lover revs. Wish other manufactures will wake up and do more sporttourer bikes in the same pricesegment as this Suzuki. Yes Yamaha and Kawazaki not every rider live their lifes on a trackfield but still like the looks of a sport bikes with fairings

    Another great breakdown. TY. I like/love the bike but those fugly clip-ons (bolt-downs) are an aesthetic challenge (and flat black too which is going to show every finger print/smudge - - the sun won't be doing the flat any favors either. I'd still buy it (only if I could test ride it). I can tell by looking, it's one of the most comfortable all-rounders.

    We get black instead of yellow...needs the paint broken up,maybe a metallic silver on the lower bellypan, with green number boards, with the same board around the h'lamps in green too,like the 1970's RM MX bikes? Evotech make mirror blanks, thankfully, get rid of those ant antennas, the bars are threaded for mirrors ! Other than that, i like it,lots of accessories available already, thanks to the 8S being around for a year...make a good lightweight tourer,as more stuff comes to the market, like cruise control!

    The rear is hideous. I watch your videos all the time, I really like when you can start the bikes at some locations as the sound of the engine means so much on a motorcycle. Triumph and Yamaha have the best sounding engines and factory exhausts in my opinion. As someone else said have you reviewed the 2025 Daytona 660? That thing is and looks amazing.

    I guess the non-adjustable cluch lever can be explained by the QS in place - Suzuki engineers or accountants assumed it will not be used too often.

    As a returning rider ,not been riding for 30 years I went with a ninja 650 ,I like the Suzuki but not keep on the front light stack set up or the extended tail ,the other thing was I really like the yellow ,the blue is ok the white is a dull silver type white and I don’t like all black bikes ,the yellow is not available as a uk option for some odd reason which is a shame as it is the best colour imo

    Ironically I have 2023 Ninja 650 KRT edition w/ABS and considering a trade to purchase the GSX 8R. Not crazy about the tail look albeit I don't think I'd change it (wish it could have been similar to the Ninja styling). Also - not particularly fond of the muffler look. The Ninja is hard to part ways with; just a fun bike, well built and at 57 yrs old, it's enough punch for me. Indeed I will admit I love the torque and overall simplicity of the 8R. This is a hard decision to make.

    Ive hesrdvthe front lights are too dim for night. Whats your opinion?

  • @PeterLoweOne

    @PeterLoweOne

    Ай бұрын

    I don't think it's an issue, but I haven't driven it at night. I think the thing that people find with lights like these is that the light is very focused, so there's less light spilling around the beam and that can create the illusion of a less bright light, but it has good light where the beam shines.

    I love this bike! The silver with red wheels please!! I think this is a great daily when you want a sporty looking bike!! I don't think this is for a new rider, that torque is up there (60ish ftlb) and can get ya in trouble fast. I think it is easier and faster to learn on a slower bike honestly. Age and the individual comes into play though.

    I was excited about this bike love it's looks but a review by ChaseOntwowheels reported buzzy handle bars from 70 mph in the freeway.He test drove the 8s and claimed didn't experience that buzziness at higher speeds.My enthusiasm was dampened considering its pricier and heavier than the naked version.

    I don't recall but I can tell you I did feel same in handlebars, however it was a 20-30 minute ride at close to highway speeds. It wasn't horrible by any stretch but I did feel it. This was the second test drive. The first exposure was with a demo ride Suzuki hosted in Braselton GA at MotoAmerica GP race, and I do not recall any vibration. I thought the bike was smooth w/o any vibration. So I remain inconclusive about it and hopeful other owners living w/the bike will help clarify.
