Hello everyone and welcome to the first Spring decorating video of the 2024 season! I'm so excited to share how I have decorated my home for this season of renewal. Today we are starting in the kitchen. This is the heart of the home and I wanted to create a warm, welcoming, and cozy spring atmosphere using color, pattern, texture and layers. I used a mixture of vintage, thrifted, new and well loved home decor pieces to curate this spring and Easter look. The blue and white dishes add the perfect amount of color and pattern to the counter vignette. I collect blue and white and tarnished silver , and incorporate it into any seasonal decor. It looks amazing in the fall with burnt oranges and rusts. The little silver urn is gorgeous! And love that napkin holder as a easel! Great idea!

Hi Lesa! Love the blue and white dishes, my grandmother had some and used to be for Sunday dinners! Also loved the tip that changing out that towel can really make all of the difference. Love what you were able to do with the tray to re use it! Looks great🤍

Cord tip: paint cord best matching color to background ( granite , wall paint depends where it’s at) also get a twist tie and take up excess and hide behind item. Make all the difference

I frequently move my lamps around my house, so I'm not sure what color I could paint them so they would coordinate in the many locations. 🤔 I do love to use fabric cord covers though and that works well on some lamps. Thanks so much for the suggestion to use a napkin holder for something other than napkins. My green transfer platter looks fantastic in my black wire napkin holder. Super idea!!

Thank you! It is far from new and that is okay. The cabinets are original to the house from 1995 but I still love it and find contentment in what God has blessed me with. I'm glad you get to enjoy it right along with me.
