The new GLS models: fresh look, new Software

Stuttgart/Affalterbach. Hot on the heels of the facelift of the GLE and GLE Coupé, the Mercedes-Benz GLS, Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC are now also appearing in updated form. A number of design, technology and equipment changes take the comfort, connectivity and ambience of the
large SUV model series to the next level. With their generous exterior dimensions, the SUV models offer interior space for up to seven occupants in three seat rows. The upgraded Mercedes-Benz GLS will arrive in the European dealerships from the end of October 2023; in the USA, the market launch will start in mid-September.

It’s equipped with a 558 HP V 8 cylinder engine which produces 730 Nm of torque + 22 HP EQ Boost. Length/ Width/ Height (in mm): 5.205/2.030/1.838.
GLS600 Maybach 0-100 km/h (62mph) can be reached in 4,9 seconds.
Mercedes GLS600 Maybach top speed VMAX is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph)

In Poland, both the word Maybach and Mercedes are pronounced identically or almost identically as in Germany, so no pressure. As for the car, not much has changed. I was wondering why they didn't replace the door handles with the ones we see in the S-class. The car itself, of course, is excellent - currently the M&M GLS600 is on the list of my dream cars. :)

Great review. Overall very nice however I have to know for a vehicle of that price point and class, why does Mercedes use so much plastic. When you were opening the fridge in the back seat the sound when closing it back up just sounded quite cheap.

the white leather steering while throws me off coz if it get dirty now i have to buy a new clean one but... if mercedes themself have a black cover for the steering wheel that suit me well

Exactly was looking at the leg rest fully extended doesn’t look like you can even put your legs strait out on it. Someone 6’5 should be able to for 170k
