2024 Ford Excursion - This video provides an overview of the Excursion model, which was introduced in 1999 as the largest SUV at the time. Despite its impressive size, the Excursion was not a commercial success and only lasted six years on the assembly line until 2005. However, the demand for SUVs and crossovers has increased in recent years.
The Excursion was based on the Ford F-250/350 Super Duty pickups and shared many body elements with them. The new SUV is made using the latest generation Ford F-350 Super Duty pickup truck as the basis, with a slightly reduced wheelbase and wider rear doors for easier access to the second and third rows of seats. The SUV borrows the front end from the pickup truck and the lights and tailgate design at the back. The tailgate design includes a lifting glass and swing doors.
The video also discusses the different engine options available for the new SUV, including a V8 6.8 gasoline naturally aspirated engine, a more powerful V8 7.3-liter Godzilla engine, and a 6.7-liter diesel V8 with varying power outputs, all paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

I currently have 2 Excursion 7.3 would add this to the collection. Absolutely love these things!
The Excursion wasn't the biggest SUV at its time, it still is! Also there is no official announcement for this, but I would love to see this make a comeback. (Being an Excursion owner myself)

Saw one in person in the wild. Was at a Sam’s and one was in the parking lot.

Aftermarket for 80-120k you can buy a new f250 or f350 and have it done

I have a question. How is Ford going to be able to reduce the wheelbase length and increase door size when you can look at pictures of the original Excursion and tell that there is no more space for door size. The Excursion already has full size back doors so why do they need to get bigger?

the original exursion was essentially a crewcab longbed super duty with an attached topper. they shouldn't need to increase door size....

If you have to ask why the doors need to be bigger you’ve never tried to get out the back door of one. Kids are fine. Adults turn awkwardly to get their feet out

Rofflmao you make it seem like this truck came from Ford 😂, text to speech narrator tried not to say it but he did infer that. This truck is a custom build not made or rebuilt by Ford, they stopped making the excursion around 2005. When this was rebuilt, they take an old excursion and put body parts on it from newer super duties or other ford stuff or custom fabbed stuff. Also for some reason it sounded like narrator was giving specs in metric, this is an American vehicle man, imperial or us customary measurements are used here lol. But these trucks still have metric bolts and stuff in em. Major mechanic/fabricator, Ford guy here. Plus i build customs PCs and xboxs like the OneS in my thumbnail.

hearing someone actually say F two hundred fifty...........that made me cringe...... but also its probably more correct than just saying two fifty.........wich made me cringe even more
