The current Fiat Panda we're reviewing here is only the third generation to appear in the past 40 years, so obviously it's almost as shy about reproducing as its black and white namesake. It's been on sale since 2012, in which time the city car class has undergone a seismic change. Buyers on a tight budget are spoilt for choice, and will no longer accept paper-thin build quality, poor dynamics or a dodgy safety performance for the sake of good value.
Not that the Fiat Panda has too many of those undesirable qualities. It's a much better car than its predecessor, with a charismatically simple interior, fun-yet-comfortable driving dynamics, plus a good dollop of practicality. It was also one of the original mini-SUVs in the shape of the rough-and-tumble Panda 4x4. Rivals for the 2022 Fiat Panda include the Volkswagen Up, Hyundai i10, Kia Picanto and Toyota Aygo.
Part of the Fiat Panda's appeal is its unusual size. Small and easy to manoeuvre like a runabout should be, but with a tall roofline and blocky profile that makes it feel relatively spacious inside, even with adults sat in the back. Boot space is merely average though, with a smaller capacity and less flexibility than the best cars in this class.
The trouble is, the Fiat Panda is a very old design now, having first gone on sale over a decade ago. Where once its poor equipment levels and basic interior were countered by its keen pricing, it no longer looks a smart buy compared with newer, better-appointed rivals. Entry-level 'Pop' trim is inexcusably sparse, and we'd recommend the Lounge trim to the majority of buyers.

One thing I like on the fiat is they use steel for the rear of there back seat. This offer so much more protection from object come from the boot in a collision. Well done fiat

One of the panda's at work had a rear end collision. The hatch was severely damaged. But the bumper was still intact. A new hatch did cost €7000 with others that come with it. Like rear wiper, latch, lock, rear frost demister.

I like the design and its dimensions. It would have been a perfect vehicle in the Indian market with the 4*2 and the 4*4 being a variant. It is a nostalgic old school design which could be upgraded just like the VW Beetle. Stellantis has enough tech within the group to upgrade the vehicle with tech.

Don't think much of the Fisher Price head unit. Junked the one in my 2015 Panda Cross multijet 4x4 for an Alpine ILX-F905D running through an Audiotech Fischer Helix P-six DSP Mk2 to Focal PS165FX components and a Rockford Fosgate P300-10 subwoofer. Panda Cross 4x4 is far better than you think.
La panda est une super citadine dommage qu'elle ne soit pas vendu en Russie car si cela aurait le cas j'aurais investi dans une voiture neuve et en automatic j'ai aimé cette voiture par des ont confort tenu de route,sa puissance et de plus économique,cela dit il manque un accoudoir central de plus , je n'arrive pas comprendre, c'est sincèrement aberrant ,vous n'êtes pas foutu d'installer les vitres électriques arrière ainsi que des radars de recul pour le reste cela reste une belle voiture 😂

Infatti è una PANDA CROSS, solo che in Italia c'è scritto CROSS in quella protezione laterale dei due sportelli posteriori e qui NON c'è ! l'ho già vista da almeno 3 anni. Ci hanno aggiunto lo schermo al posto della radio da tempo. Qui non ho capito in che nazione si trovi. In BRASILE, dove la fabbricano anche, mi pare si chiami UNO la PANDA !!!! Comunque viva la PANDA !!!

In the European market and other countries, Fiat and other manufacturers make cars with refinement. As for the Brazilian market, only rubbish comes. expensive with excessive plastic and poor finishes. That doesn't seem fair to me. They still charge three times more than in other countries.

Nothing new here, it’s a mildly facelifted version of the current model which has been on sale forever. It’s old and needs replacing.

Fiat keeps their models for longer than 10 years. Take for example, 500, Diablo, Ducato, Multipla, and first gen panda's (20 years). They keep their models but bring make different packages during production. I have a 2014 panda with 180,135 on the speedometer. I'm glad their still in production. Because of parts availability

@@bjthedjdutchdude1992yeah, but the problem of this vehicle is the lack of technology, is not cheap and the vehicle doesn't have reversing camera, no keyless system no blind spot, no automatic transmission and is zero Star Europcar

@@alfo_o9752 it was rated 4 stars in 2011. It was changed to 0 stars because it does not have avoidance systems. I have no problems with the blind spots and no rear camera. The windows are big. And I don't need all of the technology. It does has keyless entry. It has 181,900 on the odometer.

Queste ultime versioni a furia di aggiungere plastica all'interno c'è meno spazio che sulla mia che è del 2007.non hanno ancora capito che devono allungarla portarla a una lunghezza di 380 390 cm in modo di poter allargare anche il bagagliaio allora si che sarebbe un'auto valida e soprattutto tenere bassi i prezzi togliendo un sacco di roba superflua

E' una PANDA CROSS, almeno in ITALIA, con le scritte sulle plastiche negli sportelli posteriori che qui NON ci sono. Evidentemente il video non è girato in Italia. E questo modello è uscito tempo fa e non nel 2024 !
