Man Katie I'm so jealous of you , you live in a warm climate and get to wear sandals and flip flops all the time , I'm addicted to wearing flip flops but me being from Pennsylvania im now stuck wearing shoes and socks along with layered clothes 😢 when the fall and winter weather shows up i hate it 😬

I still think Target has better stuff and is still winning dollar spot. I find their stuff to be better quality than walmart too. I do think walmart has stepped up the decor game though so I'll check them out. Thanks as always for great content. 🎄

I actually went to one of those paint your own ceramics places and I made my own milk and cookies set for Santa, I loved that I could personalize it and use our last name on it, and I absolutely love how it turned out! I originally did that when my oldest was 6 months old, he's now 7 and my kids love pulling it out year after year, and they love that mommy made it! Just an idea, thought I'd share

Yes!! That’s exactly what we did and I just love having the custom cookies and Santa milk set. I did the babies foot prints and made them into Christmas trees. Such a perfect heirloom idea.

@ladylo7803 love that! We did the Christmas tree Salt Dough ornaments and fingerprints were the ornaments and handprints in salt dough ornaments that were Santa's face, the fingers were his beard, then we painted them! I do love keepsakes!

Have you noticed that green seems to be having its moment of independence this year? Lots more green only decor and I love it! She no longer has to be red’s sidekick/assistant!😂

I have never been able to put a tree topper on my Christmas tree without it falling over or falling off. Is there a trick to keeping it straight without falling?

OK question. Is it my brain that is broke or Walmarts, on the 2nd advent calendar? …Sleeps till Christmas… on the 25th when it says Christmas is here… that would be 23,24,25 sleeps till Christmas instead of 3,2,1 Christmas is here! Right??

Haven’t watched video yet, waiting until I’m off work and can pay attention but I do have another question for you. I have various decor - like traditional Christmas, Grinch and Religious (like nativities). Do you have tips on how to use various “themes” so it doesn’t look chaotic and unplanned? I mean, you can’t put Grinch beside Baby Jesus!! 😂 I just don’t know if I should stick to one thing per room/area or if there’s a right way to blend them.

I put a different theme in each room myself. I had the same issue and one year I did that and loved it so much more. I had snowmen Christmas dishes, so snowmen were my kitchen theme, Santa and reindeer family room-main Christmas tree, angels my dining room, I put my nativity on my server, gingerbread my study, I actually loved it, I had houses that lit up and on my shelves, it was so beautiful and bears in my living room. I have since culled down all my decor, but my children and grandchildren loved it. They all ended up with those items I culled down. For me, it was so much more cohesive and I loved it all more. Now I put my nativity on my sofa table in my family room and have switched to a tree theme to go through the winter with, I live in the north. We have three trees, our large family one, traditional colors for the past 25 years. This tree was my Christmas present the second year we moved into this home and we needed a taller tree, so I picked out a tree, brought my husband to check it out and he says, we should decorate it with this stuff on it. I said I like the stuff on this other tree more, he said to the saleswoman, gather up enough for her to decorate it and that was the best Christmas present ever. I still love it like that first day I saw it. In our dining room I have an Angel tree, in our living room I have a slim tree that I put our hallmark ornaments-I had the Barbie doll ones and every year I give the car ornament to my husband, those are on that tree. We used this tree when our children were home for all their ornaments. Good luck.

I’m with you in flocked trees in Brynn’s room, I am sure it would be pretty but it will be messy and she isn’t crawling yet but next year could be a problem. I have always liked the cashmere trees, different than all of the others. I can’t wait to see how you decorate her room. 😊❤🎄🦌🎅

I agree, but the flocking tree's shed alot. Not good for animals or children.

I bought the Holiday Time 6’ Christmas garland at Wal Mart for $20 and it’s so soft and pretty. I doubled it to make it fuller but one with a few picks looks pretty too!

There are different shapes of pies. Round shape is the most common though.

I got a smoking deal from Walmart on white tree for kitchen

My boys just asked why the target Tuesday girl is at Wal-Mart. 😅
