I love to watch thrift flips because I have a lot of things myself and I like to give them new life . I’ve got a lot of old things and some not so old that I just like to give them a new look and if I don’t keep them for myself I just give to someone else to enjoy . All of your projects turned out beautiful, Sammie. I love the letter molds you used. I'm going to have to get myself some of those. The box with the house is gorgeous! I agree with the clay issues. I learned the shrinkage issue the first time I used the paper clay and it was outlining a frame with the frame molds and I had big gaps. The Petticoat Pink and the dark wax on the flowers is gorgeous! I like that you put the floral stamps on the inside as well. The box turned out stunning! It looks so romantic. It was great being a part of the playlist with you again. 💖💖

Quick tip for painting the letters or half beads… flip a piece of painters tape sticky side up and stick them down to paint … makes it sooo easy

Sammie FoodSaver makes a cordless handheld vacuum sealer that I use to keep my air dry clay nice and moist. After opening original package I get the foodsaver bag put the clay in it and suck out all the air. The bags can be sealed over and over. Love all the projects on this video.

All your flips are amazing, as always. Digging you, digging your vibe… 🥰 Maybe with the legs that won’t hold… take a tiny drill bit and drill a hole in the snowman and the “box”. Then use a piece of toothpick to join the two to secure. I hope that makes sense.

Great job with the floral box flip, so cute! Love what you did with the cheese box, the grey wax added a perfect finish! I have a cheese box I added a transfer to but still didn't look complete, now I know how to add the extras to it!

I love this DIY - beautiful! I use air dry clay, and I wet a paper towel and lay on top of it and then lose it up real good and put that in a large zip lock bag to keep it from drying out as bad. I haven't tried the paper clay because of the shrinkage, but I am thinking g about trying for decorations that I can attach to things later. But, I lo e how this project turned out. Maybe try using some spackle or some caulking to fill in the gaps on the bottoms of the pieces. That beautiful baby and the dog didn't bother me one bit! I love the sounds of familys! Thank you! ♥

That’s not a bad idea for filling in the gaps Shelia. I actually use a baby wipe with the air dry clay and keep getting same results. Maybe I need to look for an air tight container
