p.s. I shot one of the SS34s today. I have two Solution SSs that I shoot at 60 lbs. and the SS34 was at 61, but it felt more like 50-55.
Yet another great video from Lancaster! I love my Bowtechs - all of them and now I have to talk myself out of buying yet another.
Bought one a couple of weeks ago. What a great bow! Plan on using it for hunting and local 3D.
As always awsome review!
Just shoot one today and I asked what the extra threaded holes were for, so you answered that question.
That big fat color-coded cable draw stop looks like a mechanism to alter let off.
This is my dream bow. One day…
I went to my local pro shop and shot this alongside the outgoing CP28; I was hoping to try a Solution SS, but it seems I missed the boat on those. As someone with a short draw, I don't feel like I really benefit from a 34" ATA but I love how smoothly and easily this thing draws.

You'd benefit from a better string angle, no?

Peep sight is closer to your eye, draw cycle is smoother, wider string angle is more forgiving and more comfortable, lesser likelihood of nock pinch, riser is extra long and gives much better hold at full draw, easier to aim, less canting, less vibration and shock, harder to torque, these are just some of the benefits of the longer bow that I can list off the top of my head. Doesn’t matter what your draw length is, you get that when you get a longer bow.
Can you remove those axels like other bows?
That last shot you see was loud as

I’ve heard the Mathew’s brand bows are really quiet.

@@FlyinZX10Rhonestly the quietest bows (stock) I’ve seen are the Mathews, but they don’t draw as well as this bow. All bows have pros and cons, and these are quiet as hell when you add some limb savers and everything.
How does the dead lock cam system compare to Elite’s Set technology? Which one is better? I’m considering the Elite Envision. IBO speed looks pretty similar.

Set moves the limbs, deadlock moves the cam. Imo deadlock is better however the really do the same thing by changing cam lean/ wheeling. Elite has qtr inch dl adj which is pretty dang nice. I think bowtech will come out with something Really nice nxt yr on their hunting bows with the timelock feature

The Bowtech system seems simpler, lighter, and more in keeping with what I already know about cam shimming. But the extra weight at the limb tips create inertia which must negatively impact speed/efficiency to some degree. With the Elite you have to buy another set of modules if you want to try performance vs comfort. With the Bowtech Flip Disc technology you get two bows in one for the same price. Elite letoff is micro adjustable. The fat color coded stops on the Bowtech cams look like a step-wise way to change letoff, but PJ doesn't mention this.
Is Bowtech still using synthetic limb pockets on this and their other bows? This bow is much better looking than the 2x4-looking 2023 Elite bows.

Why does bow tech not make the draw lengths smaller I shout 24.5 that’s why I can’t own bow tech

I think they have a bow your size in the little boys department.
If this guy that sky draws this bow tries that in a hunting situation he will never get a shot at an animal. Especially whitetail deer

I’ve heard people say this over and over, spoken like someone who doesn’t hunt. When a deer or elk comes there’s enough adrenaline to pull the bow back anyway you need to and not spook the animal. Drawing in the manner he did is probably just more comfortable for his shoulder

That's the right way to draw actually. If you watch pro archers that's how they draw.
