Well …I just bought a Ego Worklight ..and I have used it almost continuously since I got it .. your reviews are very persuasive… as I have a EGO mower, chainsaw , blower and weed eater..as I told my director of finance… “ Honey at least I didn’t spend the money at a bar “

Great video. I bought the 2125 at Lowes the other evening. I was looking for a chance to upgrade and I did the moment my Troy-Bilt with the Honda 160cc engine didn't start. This mower seems to be on par with the cutting power of the gas one. I love how light it is and how easy and intuitive the controls are. Being able to quickly and easily fold it up to take up way less space in my 10x10 shed is a nice plus, too. It is my first self propelled mower and I love it. It only takes me about 20 minutes to cut my grass, but in the south Louisiana heat, it doesn't take long to make that 20 minutes a real chore. The self propel feature will help greatly with that, I am sure. Now I am looking for a excuse to move on from my Stihl trimmer and Hitachi leaf blower. lol

I went with all ego when I bought my house. Mower (brushless steel deck) w/7.5ah, string trimmer w/2.5ah, blower w/5ah and a chainsaw w5ah about a year ago. They have all worked great, but now that its approaching 4 years, 3 of the batteries are having problems. One shows fully charged but won't work in anything. Other 2 only last a short time. When Home Depot stopped selling ego they had them reduced and I bought a mower w/5ah for my parents. That battery only lasted about 8 months of only being used in the mower. I'm kinda stuck with having buying new batteries or at least one new battery, as all new equipment from another make would cost way more. Oh, good luck trying to get ego support. They say its best to call and have your tool available. Hard for me to bring batteries and charger with me at work so I can get help via phone!

What would be the better pick between LM2125SP or older LM2135SP select cut? I like the ease of cleaning on the 2125 blade deck is smooth and not many crevices.

Any idea about grass gathering under the deck if the grass is wet. Please advise. Thanks

please compare the new 2125SP and the new 2167SP with the auto IQ drive. I am debating about which one to get. Do you have any suggestions. still using gas mower but very small yard, only need about 45-50 minutes to do.

They need to integrate speed control into the motion lever/button. No useful purpose having it as a stand alone. Ryobi has the same problem..

Strangely I can't seem to find an answer to this, but say I have the trimmer, blower and mower. I'm mowing, but the battery runs out and I only have 20 feet left to go. Can I put the trimmer battery in the mower to finish up? Can I use the mower battery in the other tools?

I use the same battery for my blower and trimmer. It should be interchangeable in nearly all of the devices. Of course it would be a bit of a pain to use the larger batteries in the blower, just due to the weight of the battery, but it would work.

All EGO batteries work in all tools. It is just a matter of run time. If you put your 2.5 in the mower, you would of course expect a much shorter run time than the 6.5 or 7.5, but they are all 56 volt and work in all tools. You could also take the 7.5 from the mower and use it on the blower, and it would run probably till you drop from exhaustion, but it would be a lot heavier.

going to squeeze in a review before another hurricane? looks like you were about to blow away reviewing the first ego mower. nice review though of all the tools. the olny thing i hate with new cordless tools is like computers from the late 90's on. every 3 months there is a new feature or power is so improved that it seems like the one you just bought is worthless. the only real criticism to me is the hooks on the bagging attachments. the ego ones look like they are the type that might take a minute to line up, the ryobi i have has straight pins sticking out the sides that just drop in. otherwise it all looks pretty good.

Single blade mowers don't cut as well as dual blade mowers. No thanks, I'll stick with my Honda HRX 217HYA 200cc with hydrostatic transmission for the win 🏆 😉 Cheap plastic junk and batteries don't last forever.

I love my Honda, had it 5 years now and it starts first pull every time. Problem is people don't run ethanol free gas and gum up the jet in the carb, otherwise maybe change the oil each year or every other, filter each year, and never had a problem. The new ryobi cross cut electric is nice with 2 blades like Honda, that with their multi head expand it set for string trimmer, edging, blower is way nice. 1 head and 1 mower, 15 tools and all batteries interchangeable.

I'm traditional I prefer gas. No charging times, or expensive batteries. I like the power, pulling the cord starting it on first try, and the smell of gas. Electric lawn equipment doesn't seem very manly.

I'd rather not deal with gas, oil, changing spark plugs and air filters, etc. I like less noise. I like that I can stand these mowers up to store them. I guess I'm less of a man?

Someday you will learn that it doesn't take gas and oil to make you a man.😉 Some of us are tired of getting the damn thing tuned up every other year because you have to pull it 30 times to get it started. Not to mention the gas going bad, oil spills in the garage,etc... But to each his own.

I still like my gas powered zero turn, but I did a bunch of tree trimming and limb cutting with my pole saw and ego chainsaw and my wife never knew I was doing it. They have the huge benefit of being quiet. I was skeptical of the battery stuff at first, but the chainsaw outlasted me. Now, if I was doing all day brush and log clearing, yes gas is the way to go. For the occasional fallen limb, and regular yard maintenance, the battery stuff works just fine. I wouldn't go with a battery mower for my size yard, but for a smaller yard and someone who doesn't want to deal with gas and/or carb issues every spring, I see it as a good solution.
