We ended up buying one of these, and we love it. Wish the bathroom was a little bigger, but love everything else in this coach. The dinette is so roomy, and you can eat with the rear doors all the way open and the screen down, definitely a great comfortable place for two people to eat while enjoying the vanlife view! We love having this and picking our meals up curbside, eating in our own private quiet diner, always clean and comfortable, and love never having to use public restrooms. The benches are not meant to be beds, but the bed is easy to make up . The "garage" storage under the dinette makes a huge difference. We never have to run a generator, love that! We are very happy with our Beyond 22D.

Nick, great video from you. Problem with coachmen is their one year warranty on electric, plumbing, and cabinetry. They pride themselves on their craftsmanship but simply don’t back it up. Most the players are 3-5 years.

Love the Coachman, looking at one in the future. This is the first twin bed that I really have put at the top of my list. Love the expanded bed option and all the other Coachman upgrades

Wil Coachman ever offer a propane free coach, that model would be perfect if it were propane free.

This I like. You could use a drop down electric bed giving you even more storage and bed that would be instant.

I have a 2021 Coachmen Beyond 22D. I think Coachmen should consider using Decked drawers under the seating area. It's difficult reaching into the back of that storage area. Also, I installed a Rolef rear screen. The screen that comes with the RV is pretty Chinzy.

Very nice if I can get it with the Ford 3.2 diesel and adaptive cruise control I would probably buy one

Very nice rig and review. I'm researching class B and this is one of my favorite ones so far. By the way the term "trickle charge" is a charger that just maintains a fully charged battery at a LOW level of charge. Those 100 watt flexible panels up top give at least 5 amps each in full sun so it can fully charge the lithium batteries by themselves without the generator being on. I have the same panels on my older pleasureway class B

Hope coachman is a good company. Will do some research first otherwise this one is perfect for one person travel with 2 teacup dogs.

I was literally getting ready to buy a Sprinter and now I've stumbled across the Coachmen. How will it do off road and boondocking? I definitely like the space and openness of the Coachmen better. Without hookups and in the snow/cold weather can the system heat up the coach satisfactorily? Is it hydronic?

In my industry we have had those 12v cooling systems. Was a lower btu system than whats on that van but one thing that sucked was 8 hrs at best the aux bat pack was dead. Here's my question can i get a 4th opinion the qg 28001 generator with the li3 system? I rather have the gen start and stop to keep the batteries up rather than putting hours on the main engine.

PS: really love your colabs with Hank and Lola. What a fun and informative time with those two!

Not true 4 season if you can't have water in your tanks.

Would love this one. I have the smallest class C coachman with Murphy bed and rear door. I would love to trade it in and get a class B. Love the twin beds. Would like to know the price.

Hi Michael, you would be able to plug into any of the outlets for your CPAP machine but the Travatos have a special cupboard specifically made for CPAP machines. Hope that helps!

The spice rack is garbage. Have the wonderful cabinet makers make a nice wooden one.

Personally, I'm leaning toward a custom van build, but this is one of the few OEM class B vans I would actually consider buying. While most OEM manufacturers are light years behind custom builders in technology and design, Coachmen is one of just a couple van builders that actually builds quality coached with decent electronics. The main problem with this power system is the poor solar capacity. Those low profile panels don;t perform well and 220 watts isn't enough for off-grid travel. I would install better panels and increase to at last 500 watts of capacity. The only other problem with this coach is that it still has propane. With this much battery power (and more solar capacity) this could easily be an electric only coach. Coachmen also needs to improve their warranty...one year is pathetic!

No LED headlights. Not for me.
