*NEW* 10 furrow eco plough | Koeckhoven/Ovlac Eco-JK | New Holland T7.270 on tracks

So-called eco ploughing is hot in the Netherlands. This means ploughing at reduced depths with specially developed ploughs. The furrow width is smaller and the mouldboards are shaped differently. Dutch company Koeckhoven.net is importer for the Spanish-build Ovlac ploughs. This latest Eco-JK model is developed by the company itself.
The first 10 furrow model is working in the Dutch polders with a New Holland T7.270 Blue Power on Zuidberg tracks. The plough is fitted with skimmers which is a novelty as well. Ploughing depth in this case is around 22cm but usually the working depth doesn't exceed 15-17cm. 30cm is normal with conventional ploughs. The furrow width is adjustable from 31,5 to 35cm. It is ploughing 315cm wide here which is the exact width of the tractor.

never seen a fully mounted plough with 10 furrows, even if its lighter than a traditional one that must put a fair bit of stress on the toplink. Interesting piece of kit.

New holland
Shallow ploughing has been used in Sweden in many years with the brand Överum, its a good thing, especially to turn over for green fertilizing and also to get rid of the unwanted weeds, this will be a good thing for your farmers :)

Its a shame you still have to plow quite deep if you want to get rid of grassland or weeds

@@vputten269 You don't have to if you can bury all the thrash at a shallower depth but need a good turning body for that. This plough is very good at it.

We use our power harrow pretty deep at 15 cm so if the plow was for instance 15 cm deep you are taking the trash back up. We also had this machine on demo so thats why i know

Bon travail mais ce type de terre je devrais plutôt dire sable ne représente pas les contraintes d'un vrais labour : aucune pierres, pas de dévers ! ce n'est pas un bon ban d’essais pour des charrues car ici tout fonctionne
